Rustington Bathrooms & Kitchens

lovely bathroom installed a few years ago but we had several issues including a heavily leaking basin which was apparently wrongly fitted. This was refitted satisfactorily. Subsequent bad water leaks behind the bath due to poor pipe joints which resulted in some flooding and a damaged ceiling below the bath. Have tried repeatedly to persuade Rustington Bathrooms to call in and advise solution but to no avail; no calls from them or their service team ( 2 weeks now) despite the urgency.So, can not use the bathroom and the problem is getting worse.Do not know what to do.

I cannot emphasize how wonderful this company is. I have had them put in a new cloakroom for me plus major alterations to my kitchen and adding another bathroom upstairs. Their courtesy, professionalism and value for money are first class. True gentlemen who know their product and treat the customer with the utmost courtesy. Top marks Tim and Simon. And you too Danny!

We have purchased a large Kitchen, Family Bathroom and Cloakroom from Rustington Bathrooms and Kitchens and have been completely satisfied.From the time we first met Tim, and later his wife Tara, the owners, we were given a five star service. Nothing was too much trouble for them including amendments to amendments to the very detailed plans for both the Kitchen and Bathroom. Our kitchen fitter said they were some of the most detailed plans he had used.Both Tim and Tara are walking encyclopaedias of all things bathroom and Kitchen and able to easily resolve problems in design and suggesting new technology that we were not aware of.We have no hesitation, nor reservation, in recommending Rustington Bathrooms and Kitchens to anyone wanting first class service and products.

Update 19 May 2021Since updating our showerroom (see review below) Rustington Bathrooms have done an excellent job on both our family bathroom and en suite -Tim gave us clear advice about what we could and couldn’t do so that we chose the best configuration for our shower- we had thought of having an open ended enclosure – open to the bath but Tim showed us there wasn’t enough room. We also discovered we had a structural post in the way and he quickly came up with a couple of alternatives. We saw the wall tiles, bath and radiator in the showroom and are really pleased with how they look. They listened to what we wanted and then delivered. Nigel and Dave did an excellent job too.En SuiteAgain we’re really pleased with the result, both with the fittings including a freestanding bath and black shower fittings and the overall minimalist look. Its wonderful! It works really well in terms of design and fittings- the shower and shower area are very smart and the tiles and colour scheme work really well. The whole team did an excellent job from beginning to end, starting in the showroom with the advice Tim gave us, and the fittings,accessories and tiles on display there and then in the actual fitting which went smoothly and to a very high standard. We are so pleased we came to you.

We are extremely happy with our kitchen supplied by Rusting Bathrooms. The quality is superb and the product knowledge and design service was second to none. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend them.

Tim and his team are friendly, kind and super efficient!! They are always there for what ever you need. We have had two bathrooms fitted in the past 8 years, and they both still look as good as new. I,d give then 20 out of 10 if I could.

From the moment that I met Tim I knew I had made the right choice for my kitchen and bathroom project.Right from the start nothing was too much trouble. I had only a vague idea of what I wanted but after numerous meetings, browsing of catalogues, loans of samples etc, a decision was finally made. Tim produced detailed plans of the kitchen and bathroom which evolved as decisions were made which made it easy to visualise the finished result.A date was set for the start of the works and again Tim involved me in planning a schedule so as to keep upheaval to the minimum and to fit around me as far as possible.Work commenced on the date set and progressed quickly - I was advised at the end of each day what had been done and what was planned for the next day and Tim liaised with the electrician that he had recommended (every other job was done by one of Rustington Bathrooms fitters including all the tiling, plumbing, carpentry etc.) which made my life easier.In all I had 3 different fitters working on my job (one at a time) but they liaised with each another and the project flowed well. They came up with ideas during the work, for example a bespoke splash back was made by one of them for the handbasin in the new shower/utility room and also a brilliant shelf above my fridge/freezer which utilised dead space and gives me somewhere to store my paella pan!Work stayed on schedule for the most part and the few snags that did crop up were dealt with efficiently and with a minimum of fuss.The actual kitchen itself (Mackintosh brand) is beautiful and exceeded my expectations. It looks amazing and is extremely well made and the sink, taps, etc compliment the overall ‘look’. Tim’s advice at the planning stage was to incorporate as much storage as possible whilst keeping the kitchen work friendly and he certainly delivered exactly that. Not only do I have a huge amount of storage but the kitchen is extremely user friendly and looks amazing.The use of under-counter lighting and well placed ceiling spots give the kitchen both the wow factor and perfect lighting wherever you might be working. A bespoke window ledge was made from an off cut of up-stand which looks fantastic and was something I wouldn’t have thought of. It’s the attention to detail which really sets Tim’s team apart from others. Nothing is too much trouble and you get the impression that no matter what, they will go that extra mile to make the customer happy.My kitchen is stunning and the shower/utility room has made use of a bathroom which was previously never used and given me extra space in my kitchen.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rustington Bathrooms to anyone with a kitchen/bathroom project no matter how big or small.

Complete refit in bathroom. Work ended just as lockdown began. They were aware at the time I was not happy with the toilet and were supposedly in conversation with the manufacturer about it. There are a few other minor snags such as gapping between the wall panels, a chipped sink, badly finished trim round window, and more. The shop been open several weeks now and no communication from them whatsoever.not impressed at all by them. If they can’t be bothered to put right snagging issues what hope have I got if something goes wrong. Typical of a lot of businesses, happy to take your money but not prepared to see the job through. They haven’t requested the final payment so I guess they would rather lose £400 than have to put right the issues I raised.

Installation and purchase of 2 bathrooms - one of the worst decisions of my life. I have sub-standard tiling with a tile drilled over and left, faulty tiles put in and grout all over my rather expensive glass tile border, scratched towel rail which was supposed to be a radiator, chipped shower tray and a shower that leaks all over the floor every time I use it. Cistern fittings were put in back to front. For goods that were very expensive the workmanship is dreadful and the attitude of the owner, Tim, rather odd as having said he would rectify any problems declined to in the end even after Trading Standards had contacted him,Avoid like the plague and photos are available.
