We have been dealing with Castle Surveyors, who completed a survey ona property we hoped to by and have been extremely impressed with the efficient way this has be done.After considering the report and the issues it highlighted I then had a veryinformed discussion with Wayne who pointed out things I had to considered regarding the condition of the property and things that need further investigation before continuing with the sale. He gave me some very valuable recommendations and advice that have been extremely useful. I would highly recommend Castle Surveyors.

I had a Level 2 Homebuyers Survey conducted by Wayne, the owner of the business. Prior to the inspection we discussed in depth the most suitable survey for the property type and condition, with any specific areas of interest to be investigated, which saved considerable cost. Following the results of the survey which highlighted notable concerns, Wayne provided excellent explanations to queries to me as the layman which put my mind at rest during an otherwise stressful process.Would thoroughly recommend - professional, diligent, pragmatic and plain speaking.

I asked Castle Surveyors Ltd to conduct a Homebuyers Survey Report on a home I was purchasing in the Southampton area. The level of detail provided in the report was very good and uncovered a number of issues I was not expecting. Wayne, the surveyor, was also very helpful over the phone explaining his findings.I would definitely recommend their services and would use them again in future.

Completed a quotation through Really Moving and contacted this company off the back of that. Didn’t hear anything. An email that was sent to a different company was copied to Castle Surveyors Ltd in their response to me; the different company was unable to assist and, therefore, copied Castle Surveyors Ltd in to see if they could.Received a (clearly generic, perhaps slightly tweaked) email from Wayne at Castle Surveyors Ltd with lots of blurb selling himself and the company, and also providing a quote. This was higher than that obtained through Really Moving.I, therefore, replied to Wayne with a question and also raising the point of the quote I had obtained through Really Moving. I asked if he would be prepared to honour the lower quote. The next email received stated: “ Further to below and previous. We are unable to assist you with this inspection at this time, wishing you all the best in your search for a surveyor.”!! I responded asking why they were all of a sudden ‘unable to assist’, but no further response has been forthcoming.Unbelievably rude, abrupt and paints a very poor picture of this company’s attitude towards prospective clients. If you weren’t prepared to honour the lower price, it would have been far more courteous to say so!

Wayne provided an excellent service in conducting a survey in a good timespan. The survey he provided was extremely comprehensive and revealed some important points of the property that would require attention that we were unaware of.In addition he provided follow up advice with regard to the survey that he was more than happy to share with us. Would have no qualms in recommending and use again.

Great service, incredibly speedy, had an intro conversation with Wayne, gave me great advice, undertook the survey the next day and had the report with me the following day. The report was thorough, detailed, easy to read and understand and greatly helped inform me as to my property acquisition

I rang to enquire about getting a homebuyer's report as we have recently started the process of buying our first home.
