Found the stag and bank to be very good. I needed a replacement card and they had this dealt with and a new card with 20 minutes and even checked it worked. This was a great help.

I've been a business and personal customer for many years with no issues at all.This branch has gone down hill so much.Staff running around like headless chicken, when it comes to assistance atleast be helpful. Twice now I've experienced staff being rude to myself.After today I was told they couldn't help me, in a rudley manor at the end of the straw with them and definitely considering changing my banks.

Came hear to verify my account as it cannot be done using the app.Waited for more than 1.5 hours sitting. Most of the people are free and not checking on customers. Worst service ever.** Went 2nd day and its the same.Worst bank ever.Doesn't deserve 1 star even.All of my friends also had the same experience.Halifax only took 10 min to complete my bank account after registration using the app. very friendly staff and services.. went there after the going to Barclays 3 times.. wasting a lot of time. neve again..

Just been to order some foreign currency. Member of staff encouraged me to wait at the only staffed till. Finally, after a circa 15 minute wait, told at the desk that they no longer offer this service in Branch - need to order via phone or on-line. I was trying to use my Branch for a change (knew I could get a better rate elsewhere) and have some personal service. Staff were polite, but could have been better informed.

What sort of bank shuts at 4pm so working people can't cash cheques etc.....and the car parks locked aswell.....time for a transfer to another bank I think. Absolute joke. No barclays in Stoke, Newcastle or longton anymore....I give up.

This bank is no longer fit for purpose! They no longer cater for business customers. One counter that closes at 2pm is simply not acceptable. Rather than having staff walking around with iPads who can’t actually help anyone as it seems they direct everyone to join the now one and only available counter (once a business till). Try taking out the useless self service stations and putting the staff back behind a counter and open normal business hours like the old days, it actually worked. This new approach does not work and the couldn’t care less attitude of some of the staff is absolutely shocking! The so called management need to get a grip of this place, It’s beyond dreadful!

Every time I go there, so far mainly to get myself approved/I.D checked in order to obtain a student overdraft. The only thing is helpful is the automatic doors, as they keep telling me the specialist are too busy, and strangely have 1 hour long dinner/lunch break and try again a different day, which the weirdest part is.. they only need to see my documents, scan them and that's it... the people there are not helpful and rather lazy, makes me want to switch banks.
