Great Witley Church
Stunning Italianate church. Very welcoming stewards with information sheets about the art. The track to the church that runs between the main roads is nearly unusable, might be better to walk if you car can’t go off-road.

Great Witley Church
Beautiful church with an absolute stunning interior, not to be missed if you’re visiting Witley Court. It’s free to enter but donations are welcome. Learn about the history of the church and the Court dating back to the 1200’s.

Great Witley Church
Beautiful church where the exterior belies the splendour of the interior. Plain staid outside can’t prepare you for the interior of great opulence and your eyes are drawn to all parts. The ceiling, walls, stained glass windows and woodwork are visually attractive. Well worth a visit.

Great Witley Church
16th century church built in the Baroque style as part of Great Witley Court Estate. Run by English Heritage the opening times are limited. Locked when we visited at 3.15pm on a weekday. Pity, the inside is supposed to be remarkable

Very ordinary exterior hiding a beautiful baroque interior, very unexpected. Opening hours limited so check before travelling to avoid disappointment. Local historical guides available during opening hours.

What can I say about this except it is absolutely STUNNING with it's baroque interior, if you visit Witley Court you must visit this, it's free to enter and you can give a donation by card. They also sell merchandise inside as well. They also run a tea room and the home made cake is to die for. If you are making a special journey I would check the church website as it's still in use for weddings & christenings.

This is a remarkable church with lots of decoration inside. It shows that the church has rich benefactors at important times in its past.It is small but see the photosphere below.

Great Witley Church
The mansion itself is a peice of architectural magnificence; the massive water fountain out in the gardens is very impressive. The lawns are well kept and the audio tour is informative.
