I used Humphrey and Crockett for heating and electrical work. I liked the way Paul took me through the options in detail before the work started but when he heard my views he listened, accepted them and didn't try the the hard sell. The work was completed on time and to price and I have had no trouble with any aspect of their work a month later. Accreditation paperwork provided promptly. Highly recommended and I would use them again.

Humphrey & Crockett are our go to plumbing & heating engineers, they've done many jobs for us including heat source pump, chimney sweeps & log burners, service is always there from start to finish, highly recommend!

We engaged Humphrey & Crockett following a recommendation when our Oil Boiler was condemned by another firm. They were responsive, competitively priced and came across as nice people. Since then (all in 2023) they have replaced our loft tank, our emersion tank, 2 showers and additionally installed a Log Burner. All done on time and as quoted and to a high standard. We're very pleased and would recommend them.

Excellent from start to finish. An oil combi boiler replacement and woodburner sweep. The communication was excellent and Adam and Paul and the team were very knowledgeable, courteous and polite. Cannot recommend highly enough, and I’m so glad I’ve found a professional and reliable company to do other works during my home renovations.

Kyle in the office/showroom arranged everything seamlessly (including a somewhat recalcitrant scaffolder) and the 2-man installation team were courteous, obviously highly competent and did an excellent job of installing a new wood burner. H&C provided a highly professional service throughout, explained every step of the process and completed the job in a day all at a very competitive price. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who is considering installation of a wood burner which, in my case, is now a central feature of our living room.

Paul & his team were very helpful in offering good advice and assistance for an ongoing 'niggly' issue I had with my pellet boiler. Despite being a very busy time for him, he set aside time to help sort my issue. I will certainly go back to this company in the future for my heating requirements. Thank you again.

We had an extremely good experience using Humphrey and Crockett as the knowledgeable and amiable heating engineer Adam was able to come within 24 hours diagnose the fault order up the part and we were able to keep our home warm.We will use the service again for future servicing etc.

We visited H&C's showroom soon after the fuel prices increased in April 2022 seeking a way of reducing heating costs. Paul visited our house, assessed its heat load and discussed various options in an impartial way - not just trying to sell the most expensive.We settled on a new woodburner and flue.Contura Stoves quoted an October delivery but this slipped to November and then Christmas due to high demand across Europe.Kyle at H&C, kept us informed and offered to install a same size, ex-display stove to keep us warm whilst we waited.The installation teams arrived on time and took great care to tidy up inside and out - including the scaffolding team needed for the flue.Our chosen stove is working really well.Despite the additional costs to H&C involved in multiple visits and delays, the final invoice was exactly what had been agreed nearly 9 months before.5 star service throughout.
