Unfortunately not a great first time experience at The Parade Cinema. Upon arrival we went to the bar/tickets counters and was greeted by a young lad. Myself my 4 year old daughter and mum were going to watch The Little Mermaid as you can imagine my daughter was very excited to watch her first ever film in the cinema. The young lad then continued to tell us that it wasn't going to be shown today as there was not enough people watching the film then in his next breathe he said that the projector was broke (so which one was it).My mum had already paid for the tickets a week before so we had no other option to get a refund and leave with a very upset little girl.

Booked to see Past Lives on 13 September at 12:50 and was disappointed to watch the film with audio described subtitles, which was not mentioned on the booking site. Whilst a great feature for customers with hearing issues, it was particularly distracting for me who does not, especially since the film also has Korean language subtitles. I complained to Parade and received an apology and a refund. I warned my friend who was going the following evening and she had the same experience! Once the cinema knew of this issue, an alert should have been posted for customers who were booking for future screenings.

Shocking experience !I really felt for the young waitresses, bringing out the so called food from the kitchen.Not really sure who or what was in the kitchen?After two attempts at serving the food , even the waitress was shocked.Then the manageress" appeared after a 5 minute wait offering a free pizza an hour after we arrived. She proceeded to tell us they had new staff in the kitchen

Friendly staff, drinks and food can be taken into cinema. Very comfortable seats in fact they recline and can be too comfortable, you could easily drop off! The best cinema in the area showing both popular and more unusual films. It's a treat to visit.

The antidote to soulless multiplex meh. Lovely staff who smile as you take your decent and well priced food/drink into the movie. Nice screen, good audio, comfy seats (108 of them?) and no more/less per ticket than your average bland chain gaff.

The Parade Cinema Marlborough
Lovely first cinema trip with my 5 year old son to see the Jungle Book on a Sunday morning. Tickets were only £6 each. The cinema was clean and seats comfy, we had two seats without an arm rest in the middle which was perfect. Snacks are expensive but he thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fairly good, pricey - seats a little cramped and I unfortunately, was sat next to a peanut & beer guzzling guy (not my date!) that belched repeatedly, not very pleasant when you’re in close proximity. Staff polite and helpful although there were a few loitering around looking lost. Generally, not a bad place but could do with tweaks to make it great.
