This is a wonderful little cosy sweet shop. The staff was friendly and caring. The sweets were delicious with a good balance of flavours.

Amazing Syrian pastry treats and baklava. Everything tasted so fresh and was seriously yummy. What I loved about it was even though it was sweet, it wasn’t as sickly sweet or soggy as others I have tried. I make it a point to swing by whenever I’m in the area! Definitely the best baklava in Edinburgh.

Best baklava I’ve tasted - so fresh and so delicious! Flaky and not overly sweet.Small bite size which is perfect as an aftermeal treat.Took one bite and loved it! Need to go back for more -

Amazing!!! Reasonably priced. Not too sweet. Truly authentic Syrian pastries (I had the pleasure of visiting Syria before the war and it was reminiscent of the wonderful desserts I had in Damascus).

Rather authentic Baklava as you could expect from a posh Greek restaurant! The owner is very nice to allow me a try before paying. I'm not very into sweets but the Baklava here really strikes a balance between the sugar and the nuts.

The men who run this place are so friendly and generous! I think they might sell the most delicious sweets ever and their coffees are great too. It’s just an added bonus that their prices are better than anywhere else I’ve been in the city for coffee, even when a baklava is included! I’ve been a few times now so the man gave me a free baklava and was very kind.It’s lovely to experience people’s favourite parts of their cultures and I already know this place will be a regular place to visit.

Had such a lovely experience at Levant Sweets.With their help we handpicked a great selection of beautifully prepared baklava, which will be much enjoyed with some coffee!So glad to see them open and still serving Edinburgh handmade sweet treats after the pandemic.There's a fantastic deal for the coffee lovers out there - a piece of baklava and a cup of coffee for £2.50, and we all know how well sweets go with caffeine!
