The Grenville Hotel
Spent a couple of hours in this pub and I must say that it was a very pleasant experience. The server was lovely and the ambiance modern and airy. Only one fault for me and that was there wasn’t a full length mirror in the ladies wc and we all know that ladies like to check their appearance lol, all in all I will recommend to friends and family.

We had an amazing evening thank you so much for looking after us. When I got so hot from dancing, one of the bar staff gave me a fabulous hair band to tie my hair up to keep me cool. I think what I'm trying to say is the staff would go the extra mile to make their customers feel special thank you and will definitely be back Nina xxx

The Grenville Hotel was a really lovely, welcoming pub. I'm a non drinker n they had a very good selection of non alcoholic hot & cold drinks as well as a lot of artisan beers, cider etc for my alcohol drinking friends. A good time was had by everyone. The only down side was that the streets surrounding the pub were all chock a block with cars, double yellow lines or residents parking only but apart from that it was a great experience going in that pub

Having recently moved back to the area I was delighted to see that The Grenville Hotel (The Grenny) had recieved a complete refurbishment. It was always a great local when I lived here 6 years ago and now it has had the refurb it has reached a new level. Brilliant staff who keep you up dated with the most recent drinks they serve (I recommend their Gin options).They book acts for the weekend who are sometimes hit or miss, but that's where the fun is with pub bands but if more local pubs put in the same effort as these guys then we wouldn't see as many English pubs closing down. We'll be back on Saturday to try more of their gin options and a biscuit for Colin the pub hound.

Great local pub, always a good atmosphere and staff are very friendly.We booked for my partner's birthday and it was great, they even unlocked the pool table so we could play for free all evening!

I won't go to a pub that doesn't serve food. I went only at the insistence of friends. If you like noisy drunks, it's paradise. It's my living hell.
