We had a duo roast, turkey & beef, the food was delicious, hot, bar staff very friendly & helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We asked for extra gravy & there was no charge. Highly recommended.4 Cumberland pigs in blankets, crispy & fluffy roast potatoes, peas were not dried out, carrots, parsnips, stuffing balls, yorkshire pudding crispy infact it was all lovely, we are definitely coming back soon, our compliments to the chef and staff well done guys 10/10 xxxx

Every was good except the carbonara wasn't very hot, probably cooked before the other meals were ready and left to stand waitingOther than that everything OK, Nice atmosphere in the pub.

As a family group, we were here for the wake of my Uncle who had passed away, after returning from the crematorium. I asked at the bar, if they had any Gluten Free options, I was advised they had not been informed of guests requirements. Luckily for me, I always carry some GF food. We were in Milton Keynes for the weekend we booked the Premier Inn at Willen Lake, with the Brewers Fayre next door. They had an NGCI menu (non gluten containing ingredients) so I was able to eat and enjoy some lovely meals.

A Fantastic Experience at the Talbot Inn!Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Talbot Inn, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! The exceptional customer service provided by the staff at this pub truly made our visit memorable.First and foremost, the food at the Talbot Inn is good. We were delighted to indulge in some delicious traditional pub food that exceeded our expectations. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Moreover, what impressed us the most was the incredible efficiency in which our food arrived at our table. Despite having a group of 15 people, our meals were served promptly and piping hot!The variety of drinks available at the Talbot Inn was also commendable. They offer a wide selection of beverages, catering to different tastes and preferences. Whether you're in the mood for a refreshing a pint of ale, or a non-alcoholic option, you'll find something to satisfy your cravings. The seating options at the pub are plentiful, both indoors and outdoors. The vast indoor seating area provided a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal with family and friends. Additionally, the outdoor seating area was a great option, particularly during pleasant weather. We loved the option drinks in the open air.The Talbot Inn boasts a wonderful family-friendly ambiance. We felt safe and comfortable throughout our visit, which was particularly important given the size of our group. The staff was accommodating and friendly, ensuring that everyone had an enjoyable experience. One aspect worth mentioning is the large free car park available for guests. It's convenient to have a spacious parking area, and the simple process of entering the vehicle registration at the bar made it hassle-free for patrons.Overall, our time at the Talbot Inn was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of great food, excellent service, diverse drink options, ample seating, and a welcoming atmosphere made it a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend visiting the Talbot Inn for a delightful dining experience, whether you're looking for a cozy night out or a gathering with a larger group. You won't be disappointed!Lastly a massive thank you for being so acomindating for all the willen hospice midnight moo marshal's you looked after us from start to finish

I came in after 3 weeks away and I had missed my local. I always feel very welcomed in when I visit, there is always a friendly face behind the bar and a nice atmosphere. Cath always takes time to say hi and have a little chat, which is lovely x

Was in the area for a couple of nights so popped in for an evening meal as part of a group of 3.Staff were pleasant and food was typical chain pub offerings that were reasonably priced.Service at the bar was slow the first night as there only appeared to be one person on duty. The second night we attempted to order via the app from our table.Unfortunately the food took over an hour to turn up.The lady on the bar was quite apologetic but something had obviously gone wrong somewhere. We got a free round of drinks (shame we were only on soft drinks). To cap it off the order was wrong when it arrived (one plate was to have new potatoes instead of chips), but the server did apologise and although we said not to worry (bit fed up of waiting by this point) he did return a couple of minutes later with a separate side dish of the offending spuds.Overall distinctly average. Nothing terrible (bar the wait on the second visit) and reasonably priced. Toilets were nice and clean too!

Great visit with my friend we had a 50% off mains only voucher so we both ordered the mix grill and a soft drink . With a good space between our mains we ordered a sundae. Huge!! My tummy felt like It does after a good hearty meal and we both enjoyed the food, service and drinks. Lovely run pub and we will be back

Sadly it was very cold in this pub, we waited a long time for food to come out, then most of it was cold. We didn't bother to complain as we were happy to leave. The young waitress who served our food was very pleasant. There was 7 of us.

I wish I could post a really positive review but the food was bland, the service slow and the ambiance lacking with furniture lacking maintenance. Balanced by the low cost and friendly bar staff.
