This was life saving rest point for me when walking C2C. I was running out of water and thirsty like a camel. I was about to ask for a water at a farm which was on my path. But to my big surprise I saw a honesty box next to a farm house. I was so relieved. There was a fridge full of fizzy drinks and water. I put some cash into the tin and drunk one can after another. I'm so thankful to those who filled that fridge with drinks. You saved my life.

A work in progress. A bit rough around the edges, but a good place to spend a dry night, out of the rain.The host was super! A really likable guy who gave us a mini-education about sheep.Bunkhouse in a basement with four single beds. Kitchen needs a bit of work, but is functional. Frozen meals available in a freezer that can be heated in an available microwave oven.Host delivered a good breakfast.Coffee, tea, etc., available on the honor system.Right on the Coast to Coast trail. While definitely not the Four Seasons hotel, it was a great little place to spend a dry night while on the C2C trail.
