Just heard a horrendous story from a deae friend who was detained here a while ago, she was asked to work for £1.00 per hour to do cleaning jobs!!! Even though she isn't allowed to work under immigration laws AND more importantly the Home office completely forgot what minimum wage is! That's how severely corrupt the government is! Instead of paying for a cleaner they decided to implement modern slavery by exploiting the detainee there and save 10000s of pounds! Disgusting and appalling
