I usually would never write a review about anything other than the actual quality of food, however me and a friend visited earlier in the evening and noticed that despite there being more than 1 member of staff there was 1 woman doing all of the work. She was cleaning, checking everything twice, running back to the desk for the customers so we weren’t left, and she still managed to attend to us in good time. Very young looking girl and looked to be a bit sad. I understand people have designated roles in businesses, but having someone run about being a porter, part chef, and taking orders is not at all fair and as well draining. I hope the woman is okay and that it’s maybe just been my poor judgement. Always check up on staff no matter what their role. That woman is the face of the business the second you walk in and she’s always happy to accommodate anything/help, but it seems sadly today she’s been taken advantage of.

Fritters always taste watery.. no flavour to the batter whatsoever. Chips are not your standard chippy chips.. they just taste awful.

Iv had a few things but iya a hit and a miss woth food , we went Saturday my fish was perfection and sausage supper spot on but the chicken was all in frier just that bit tp long my partner couldn't eat it, I will definitely be back as it is a hot and miss but staff friendly and nice clean shop

What is brown and overcooked and the chips were chewy it was not worth the money Got free fritters which was nice but won’t order again thanks

we tried it for the first time tonight and thought it was Ok. breaded fish was delicious but thought the battered was a little greasy. wasnt a fan of the chips as they were dry like most chippers nowadays
