Rachel at Hammonds was just lovely, helpful and so friendly. We popped in not having made a appointment and she happily let us have a look around and then scheduled us in for an appointment the next evening. If you know what you are looking for I would recommend Hammonds to anyone!

Racheal is amazing, she went over and above what I had expected. I was difficult to please, but she found me the perfect dress and I now can’t wait for my wedding day. A huge thank you to Hammond wedddings.

Found a great dress, but also found that you really have to be insistent on the ones you like in order to get to try on what you want. really friendly people though and room was warm.Go with an idea, and ask to look around first. I was asked to change as soon as i got there, so didn't look around at possible ideas first. Had to send my sister and Mum to look around and help the lady get an idea of what I like. In the end we got there, and she was very nice.

On the day of visiting Bedford to find my perfect wedding dress, I telephoned Hammond Wedding Ltd to find out if i needed to book an appointment or just come along... As i have never been wedding dress shopping before in my life, I didn't know what to expect. The very friendly lady who answered my call, spoke me through how they work and that i would be in very capable hands. She was straight to the point and very helpful. I was booked in to visit that day!On arrival, my mother and I were greeted by a lady called Rachael. I explained to her what kind of style/colour i was looking for, which then gave her an idea of what to pick out for me... I tried on four very different dresses... Each one i tried on, Rachael did a fantastic job at getting me in/out of... she was very honest, she worked hard to match me with my ideal dress... and the end result was amazing!I would recommend any bride to be to give Hammond Wedding Ltd a try...They are very good at what they do... And the dresses are 5* quality.

My best man booked us an appointment to go here to get suited up for my wedding in July. I must say the service we received was 5 star. The range was good, The prices are fair and quality of the suits is excellent. The man who seen to us was helpfull, polite and very knowledgable... really looking forward to my big day now knowing I will look the part.

Our experience of Hammonds was unbelievable ..at first appeared very nice but there selection of dresses was only what they picked themselves ..My daughter finally picked her dress after both ladies were running out of patience as there selection was not what she had expected..The place was freezing cold my daughter and young grandaughter were nearly turning blue with the cold atmosphere as well as the frosty atmosphere of the Lady in charge as she did not like her!! choice of dresses ..she then paid a £250 deposit and was told 4 months the dress would be ready....2 weeks later my daughter went to a friends wedding only to her horror she was wearing the same dress that it had taken her so long to pick,,She straight away told hammonds she couldnt now wear the dress to her wedding as she would feel very uncomfortable. the lady in questions reaction was very frosty again and i was told she would have to have a dress to the same value!! Again we went through the same freezing cold process of trying dresses which were not at all what she wanted. My daughter was in tears in the shop so we left and decided to try another wedding shop far away which was a really lovely experience and she found the!! dress she was so happy as everyone there had made it a special experience.She then gave this lady a deposit and we left to go back to hammonds to tell the proprietor that we were willing to lose the deposit but she then astounded us with the reply that the whole amount of the dress would have to be paid!! she did not tell my daughter this at the time of taking her deposit that this would then be the case.My daughter was distraught not knowing what to do ..was she to have a dress from these people who had nothing she liked and pay for a dress exactly like her friend ??..She phoned various times and was told by the woman she would have to approach her directors and she would let her know . Eventually she had a call proposing she paid her another £300 and she would then also keep the dress!! . My daughter decided to pay her the money . On the day she went to the shop to pay her this ridiculous amount i myself pointed out to her she should verbally tell all brides to be before they sign for the deposit they would not have a leg to stand on if anything happened to which she then replied I ask all people to read first" which was the ultimate lie !! .Think please before you sign this womans ridiculous contract which seems to be preying on other peoples misfortune"

Came into the shop as they had a few nice dresses on the window. I was straight away asked if I had an appointment and I said I did not. The lady asked me to leave as I did not have an appointment. Although there was no one else in the shop! No other customer. And all I wanted to do was look at the dresses. She then gave me their card so I could make an appointment over the phone ??? I don't understand why I needed to ring if I was already there. This has put me off coming back. Plus the place smells like a charity shop.

They were very helpful and they tried their best to get what I wanted but sadly I left it to the last minute and they can't make miracles. Natalie had a lot of patience and she tried everything she could but the designer I wanted (Morilee) will not rush any order.Very grateful to the ladies for their efforts.

I enjoyed my visit at Hammond wedding shop. Was looking for a dress for my son's wedding. The lady there was very helpful she showed me lots of dresses helped me to see the different fittings was very honest with each dress I tried on. My daughter bought her wedding dress from there and had the same nice experience I had. Would recommend this bridel ship.

Mrs Hammond is an amazing lady, she puts you at ease, makes you feel so welcome and knows her role inside out. Popped into the shop last week on the of chance of asking some questions, I was treated to trying on some very beautiful bridal dresses whilst Mrs Hammond regaled some beautiful memories of past clients. I will definitely be visiting her again.
