Halfords Mobile Expert Leeds

The wheels were fitted but not balanced correctly. They were balanced and counter balanced multiple times due to either the wheel balancing machine out of calibration or incorrect placement of weights. Halfords sent another van to rectify this on 18/11/23 but was advised it was not possible as his balancing machine was out of calibration and to go to the store HalfordsI went to Halfords, and they told me they could not balance the wheels and that I would need an appointment and the earliest date possible was in 2 weeks time.I have now had all 4 wheels balanced at national tyres without issue, but can also confirm the inside of the wheel are also damaged by the Halfords on your drive tyre fitter. One rim has a small chunk of metal missing on the wheel, while all 4 wheel have scratch marks within the finish. This is where the fitter decided not to use a solvent / alcohol cleaner prior to sticking the weights, and in place used a form of grit paper.I have photos of all 4 wheels prior to the balancing being correct and the damage can be seen also on these photosThe issue is not the tyres, but the service paid for with the tyres, which included fitting and balancing the tyres. The tyres were not correctly balanced, and my wheel were damaged by the Halfords team due to a lack of care and respect!
