Singleton Lodge Country House Hotel

Absolutely perfect and the best wedding ever were just a few of the words our guests used to describe our day on Saturday and Singleton Lodge played such a massive part in that! From meeting Joanne I knew we'd be in the safest of hands, everything ran just as she promised, the food was incredible, the team there just ace and I'd recommend this venue and the team in it to anyone looking for a venue for any occasion! Just perfect - thank you all so so much xx

A number of problems with orders including one person not getting a meal with the rest and when it did come it was cold! There were 10 of us on a staff xmas do and we had preordered. Or at least we thought we had. We did have our order taken again on arrival and it still was wrong. Food was ok but can restaurants not manage a veggie option with the roast dinner bits and just change the meat? Had Gnocci, which was like an unusual hotpot! The starters were fabulous and desserts (although we had our order taken again!) But £28 bit pricey. Room was freezing and if it weren't for the company I was with, it was not friendly or welcoming. Was delighted when the brass band came but apparently they were just passing! I was looking forward to this meal as I have never been to this place but I doubt I will go back. Sorry guys but you should be great at this.

Just an absolute gem of a place. Staff are so helpful and hard working, food is amazing.Will be back!!

Went again to Singleton Lodge in Singleton if you enjoyed English food you are in the right place the service is wonderful the price is right. Been coming here for a long time.

Beautiful venue for a small wedding. Lovely surroundings and bonus alpacas.The staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was very good too.

My husband and I booked to stay at the beautiful Singleton Lodge & Country Hotel we traveled up from London we had arranged an early check in prior to arriving we got there much earlier my husband went and spoke to who we now was one of the owners Natalie to see if we could get a slightly earlier check in without hesitation told us to check in immediately my husband proceeded to ask where we could go for breakfast she said that she would speak to the chef and was sure he’d oblige, before we new it we were served a full English breakfast which was superb cooked by her husband Michael, the welcome you receive is second to none the hotel is situated in stunning grounds with alpacas to the front on there own paddock it’s wonderful. The room was beautiful with everything you could want it’s a real hidden gem that we look forward to returning to cannot recommend Singleton Lodge highly enough….thank you Natalie and Michael for your hospitality Steven and Tracey Lonsdale

This is a Georgian house converted into a family business. A fabulous place to stay for a few nights. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. The bathroom is very spacious. It is located a village and hence you would experience a lot of fresh air, quiteness and peace. The breakfast was delicious and the dinner was not expensive. Also, you will see many Alpacas in the terrace. We loved it.

Had a buffet here for Grandmother's 100th birthday. Staff friendly, helpful and a credit to the Lodge ... Claire and Joanne. Beautiful setting with Alpacas in the fields on the way up to the main house. Rooms set up for buffet in one room and seated eating area in another, all neat and tidy and well set out.Would recommend and use again.
