Very nice sports centre. Pity the staff didn't get back to us with an answer to our question. A yes or no was expected....as it stands, we were left with out any response, so we went elsewhere.

We go here for the toddler tennis, now that might seem like your idea of absolute hello n earth but the staff that oversee this session. Are absolutely amazing.The kids are involved and are being taught skills like joining and staying in a line until their turn, catching and throwing, balancing, using a racquet and helping to tidy up afterwards.My little girl really, really enjoys her time here and the staff are always approachable.

We are the premier racket sports venue in the North East of England with an onsite Pavilion which houses an array of group fitness activities. The Northumberland Club is going from strength to strength and building on our major racket sports presence in the North East. Our gym refurb is planned for completion on the 22nd December 2017 and this will be a new state-of-the-art gym, including a functional training zone, lifting platform, state of the art resistance machines, wide range of cardiovascular equipment, free weights area and group training.

Quite expensive, especially the badminton only membership ( still have to pay £3 each time you come in to play outside club play, which isn't suitable for beginners). Changing facilities not what you'd expect for the price, eg. Only 2 cubicles the rest if the shower communal etc.

Lovely friendly rackets club very clean venue with gym and indoor and outdoor tennis courts badminton and squash courts bar and lounge well worth a visit for both young and old
