My husband and I commissioned Ally to help us with our renovation project of a 17th Century, Grade II listed cottage in North Norfolk.  The project wasn’t an easy one, we had only just started when the country went into lockdown in March 2020.  To say the project was a challenge is an understatement, not only due to the period of time we were living through but also the building itself,  having its own quirky features that were also a challenge to work with.Once the structural side of the work had been completed, we needed help to visualise the space and character of the property and to bring it to its full potential, we wanted our lovely cottage to have the wow factor!Working with Ally she guided us through the process, opened our eyes to the full potential of our property and provided us with a vision as to what our home could look like.   Even at times when we struggled to envisage the designs, Ally showed enormous patience, perseverance and professionalism, encouraging us to different ideas and concepts and giving us the confidence to step outside if our comfort zone.Ally’s designs stitched our home together, she considered the overall flow of the house and not just the specific rooms, her designs, attention to detail and finishing touches are simply beautiful.Ally was a fundamental part of making our home what it is today, we are so delighted with our beautiful cottage and would not hesitate to recommend “Alexandra Johnson Interior Design” to anyone who is looking to use her services.Simon & Helena Norton
