Good rooms with an excellent 24hr access keypad system through e-mail! Simple and impersonal. Sadly it's mired by the occasional poor tuning of drums, they don't have a mic socket if you are a singing drummer, and the drum risers are a little small (I'm a drummer). Overall it's one of the best practice rooms I've been to, if a little sterile in terms of a personality. Over the phone service is great though.

A good concept, but some of the rehearsal rooms have poor quality equipment. The room I visited recently had a broken snare, and there was no better equivalent in the spares room. The air conditioning was also broken, so the room was incredibly hot. An easy-to-book rehearsal space, but there are better alternatives in Sheffield.

Terrible. Really loud aircon in every recording studio that, after a 45 minute chat on WhatsApp with someone who obviously had never even been in the building, turned out 'not able to be switched off'.Broken equipment and missing equipment they sent me on a wild goose chase to find and replace. Asked for a refund. Never going back.

Decent place, cool idea but open for abuse, if stuff is missing from your room all is done over the phone meaning you take stuff either from the storage locker or from another room, this is all good but then the room you borrowed from will be in same situation unless you ring ro put it back.Equipment there is good , drums are nice with pinstripe heads, rooms acoustically are nice and size wise too. Amps etc good quality too. I would bring your own cymbals and maybe felts etc / standsOverall really good though

Let's get it over with Pirate are great, I wish I'd come up with the idea. We normally book the pro rooms, lots of space, room for all the kit and ego's. Bookings straight forward as is the reward schemes. Downside and more to do with other users, we always tidy up after ourselves but others leave it in a mess. Sometimes the kit isn't in the best of shape and we've started bringing our owns mics as it's hit and miss. Also a regular check in on kit please. On site security would be a good idea as there's been a few unwanted little b**tards who have made there way in. Other than that great stuff!

The kitchen has no kettle or microwave and some of the equipment in the studio wasn't fully working. Could be maintained better
