Boat of Garten Caravan Park

Very quiet small park,great location near Aviemore..

Just returned after spending three lovely days at this site. We had chalet 21 - Imvernevis - and we were delighted with how well kept it was. It was spotless and had everything we needed to make our stay the pleasant one it was. We were a group dog four adults, one five-year old and two dogs. The chalet was big enough to accommodate us all with a lovely deck with beautiful views out into the countryside. There were smoke places to take the dogs out for walks. We didn’t use my if the facilities available on site so I can’t comment on them. But this was an ideal base for trips to Landmark and Aviemore. Our five year old grandson loved it and couldn’t hide his excitement when we arrived running around the chalet and pointing everything out to us. He was happy so we were happy. This chalet is privately owned and thy definitely take pride in it. Would definitely return in the future .

Clean and tidy with ok amenities. Not really much to do for kids. The playground has 1 swing,. The focus has been in maximising pitches over amenities, which is understandable. There is a good park and football pitch 5 minutes walk away.

We hired one privately for our family holiday. Great things to do in and around boat of garten. Few mins drive to aviemore. The caravan itself was well stocked and homely with a great view of the mountains

Very nice well maintained caravan park.. close to aviemore and its attractions. Access to forest across the quite road outside. Small cafe at the entrance that is good stop if out on your bike. Forest opposite has an excellent bmx pump track hidden inside.Very impressed.

Stayed here for a week back in February and had an amazing time. It was really cold the whole time we were there but the caravan was still lovely and warm the whole time. There was also really strong winds while we were there but that wasn’t an issue at all. Super cosy and comfortable & the shower was pretty good too!

Do not go to No.20 !I recently rented no.20 only to discover it was not clean, had broken rusty blinds, patio doors were very dirty which spoiled the lovely view, there was no bin in the kitchen, the outside decking area was really dirty including the wooden furniture.It was so bad that the outside space was not useable.I had requested one with outside space but we couldn’t use it !When I complained to Amanda (park owner)She immediately got the cleaners up to clean.This was great but they told me the outside space is the caravan owners responsibility!Emails went between Amanda and I, she confirmed the owner would have to pay extra to get the outside area cleaned. It never did get cleaned !It spoiled our holiday and I have not been offered any compensation or money back for this bad experience.Amanda has stopped answering emails .It’s a lovely park in a great spot but they cannot charge full price for something that is not up to standard.Very disappointing.

Excellent stay, friendly staff, beautiful location. We stayed in number 13 static van and it was the best! We left a behind an important member of the family - our daughters favorite teddy bear - this was found immediately and posted back to us without any charge, which we are extremely grateful for - thank you!
