Just had excellent takeaway, delivered to caravan site. Tasty, fresh ingredients seasoned just right. Vegetables nicely sliced, not greasy, chicken satay in particular was lovely, with lots of peanuts in sauce. Delicious, would definitely use again.

Just ordered a Chinese from here, they forgot my chips which is one of my fave parts! I only ordered 4 items worth £20 so don’t understand how they forgot these :( gutted! Also didn’t send any prawn crackers either, I’m sure if you spend over around £15 you get prawn crackers! So all me and my partner had for dinner was rice, noodles and chicken balls :( such a shame as the rice and noodles were delicious! Just find it frustrating they managed to get this order wrong

Chinese food, chips, fish, chicken are all available.On entering the premises, it is clear it needs a face lift. The decor is scruffy and tired. Staff were prompt and pleasant.However, the oil smelt like it needed changing, as there was an overwhelming smell of grease.I ordered Chinese food and it was fine, nothing amazing but perfectly edible, although the sweet and sour sauce was a neon orange, chose not to eat it, looked slightly radioactive!!As a take away is a treat for me, I would not return.

Popped in to cherry house because I was Hank Marvin and I had a long drive back to the big smoke ahead of me.Local chippy, it was clean and well maintained, from what I could see.The lass serving me had a cold demeanor, but the last serving the food seemed a little more relaxed and genial.They looked like mother and daughter to be honest, perhaps a family run business and the lass yearned to be away with her chums?Anyway the portion was of a decent size with the chips being golden and hitting the perfect ratio fat and fluffy interspersed with the crispy crunchy little blighters, and then the hidden big crispy sods.Almost perfect, almostIt was ruined somewhat by the fish.Which was literally mutton in sheep's clothing.It was obviously sitting in the warmer for a while because it was soggy and greasy at the bottom, and totally dry on the top.You know that kind of dry where it stops being crispy and becomes gum shreddingly crunchy.The fish inside it crunchy glass like cage was also dry and mealy.What an immense disappointment that fish turned out to be.Dazzling to look at, devestating to eat.I would have given a one but for the sublime portion of chips.Chips saved the day.My summary,I was more disappointed than upset,Cracking chips (sometimes literally), forgettable, fraudulent fried fish.

We had fish and chips and one of the Chinese dishes. The chips were amazing, absolutely brilliant chip shop chips and the fish was tasty but the batter was less impressive, not bad but not at the same level as the chips. The Chinese food was decent and the portions were generous. Prices overall were reasonable, and we will definitely be going again.

We love getting dinner from the Cherry House. We have been using it for 10 years, and it never fails to provide a delicious meal for my family.Obviously with inflation prices have increased, but we still use it, once or twice a month.It does get very busy at the weekends, so I recommend phoning order through to avoid waiting around.

Can only comment on pork chow main and chicken balls, both very nice .

Been using this takeaway for years, had noodles in black bean sauce. The black bean sauce was very thick . Not like usual. I ended up being physically sick all evening. The next day was many trips to the toilet. Ruined my Sunday. I work for the NHS so days off being sick with food poisoning are not great, so I won’t be returning to this takeaway again.
