Goldendale House

Goldendale is a perfect example of how a carehome should be, it's a warm friendly safe caring environment, where the staff get 100% everyday to ensure that the residents are happy healthy I looked after to the highest standards, my nan was a resident here and she loved it always had a smile on her face when we came to see her, I can't thank the carers and the owners enough, for the top quality care given at this home, welldone guys keep up the good work.

Treat the staff terrible

i can not express how wounderful it is to work for Goldendaldlae houes, the whole team work as one and treat each other with dignety and respect ,

It's clean and tidy the staff are very polite and always there when you need them x x

My nan was treated absolutely disgusting in this home I'm sure even a dog gets better treatment than they give I will be seeking advice and putting major complaints in

What can I say about Golden dale House. What I would like to say is my dad went there, he had a lovely stay off respite, the staff were lovely and the standard off care was fantastic. That is what I would love to say if my dad was able to stay there for respite for a week. But unfortunately I can't say that because 2 days, yes 2 days before he was due to go in for a week off respite, they phoned and refused him. Now considering the circumstances around the fact that I now have two days to sort out another respite for my dad as Im due to go away which is all booked and paid for in 3 days time, and we went to see the home and agreed to go there over a month ago, and now they left it two days to turn around and say no sorry we are not taking your dad now, I think is quite shocking, disgusting even, the home knowing the circumstances. So that is what I have to say about Goldendale House. Make your own mind on weather to put a love one in there. Oh and forgot to mention I'm full time carer to my dad and was over 5 months ago since I last had any sort of break or respite from the caring role of my father who I'm with constantly and care for 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Visited Goldendale last night with my husband who has not seen his Mum for 3 years. She looks brilliant. Obviously very happy and well cared for. A very warm welcome from the staff who knew who we were although it was our first visit. Beautiful bedroom and wet room. Definitely not clinical in any way.The Home is beautiful. Modern, warm, a discreet but lovely perfumed smell all round.As an ex Nursing Home Manager I loved the place and would give it top scoring.

Shocking experience. Had a miscarriage and was made out to be a liar. Practically got bullied whilst I was there apart from that, lovely home and lovely environment x
