Tanu’s Indian Cooking Classes

My daughter and I took the donut baking class with Tanu on Sunday, 25-Apr. It was the best experience we had while baking. Delicious donuts, amazing colourful glazes and a very happy kid were the end products. Tanu is calm, composed and friendly with kids. The instructions were easy to understand and follow. We are already looking forward to her next online cooking class. Definitely recommend!

My daughter did her first cooking class with Tanu. She thoroughly enjoyed making the puffs and palmiers. Tanu is very good with kids and answers all their queries in detail and with patience. There is lot of fun and humour in her class which makes it even more interesting. Looking forward to doing many more cooking workshops with her.

The latest edition of Tanu Bakeoff was an astounding hit, as always! This time around, we got to make guilt free protein bars and chocolate truffles! They turned out to be so yummy that they disappeared in minutes! Thank you Tanu for keeping the kids engaged through your culinary magic!

Had the opportunity to take Tanu's Brownie class for my kid. We got the ingredients list 3 days early so I was able to find almost all needed items. The class started on time and the instructions were very clear. She was able to make the kids ask and answer and get involved totally. It didn't feel like just following instructions. It was very interactive. In between when the same results was not obtained she gave instructions to tweak as needed (as baking at different locations and temperature gives different results). Finally it was a good session where both myself and my kid enjoyed baking with Tanu. Definitely recommend her classes for kids.

This afternoon I had such a wonderful cookery lesson with Tanu learning how to make a chicken biryani and a cucumber raita. Both of them are absolutely delicious. Tanu is a great teacher and I can’t wait to have another lesson again soon. Such a treat!

I came across Tanusrecipe when I was looking for kids baking classes for my 7 yr old. I read so many positive reviews and went ahead and enrolled for kids classes. I think that was the best Christmas gift my daughter received!!! Tanu is so patient, professional and organized. Right from registration Tanu was clear and concise about scheduling, ingredients and also workarounds if we are missing any tools. I goofed about schedules and made extra payment but was refunded immediately. Scheduling was another challenge I thought because of time zones and zoom classes since we are based in California, USA and Tanu is in UK, but she is very efficient and techno savvy too and very very patient at the same time. Handling kids questions and simultaneously making them work on the recipe is a feat in itself. It’s super fun and the recipes are super tasty. My daughter is done with 3 classes already and looking forward to the next one. I highly recommend Tanu!!!

My both daughters joined cookie baking classes with Tanu and they absolutely loved it. Tanu was very patient in explaining her recipes and waited till all kids were finished with the steps. I highly recommend taking her baking classes. We would be taking more classes in future for sure.

Tanu is just amazing!! Such a knowledgeable teacher with lots of patience. We absolutely loved the biriyani and raita we made with her and feel confident to carry on cooking Indian food with all the tips and tricks she gave us in the lesson. Thanks so much Tanu!!

101% recommend Tanu's cooking classes. Its perfect for all age group, bit small kids till adult who loves to cook and eat yummy food. Perfect place for foodie, to treat with homemade food. My 5 years old son, was super excited and proud to make these beautiful donuts in different flavours. Tanu you did fantastic job, in getting all kids to follow you in smooth way with step by step easy instruction... and output was so so yummy that we all had family treat with my kid handmade donuts (sugar/chocolate/strawberry/blue glaze/plain).
