The food was acceptable (a House Special Chow Mein) but I've had them elsewhere with a lot more variety: this was heavy on meat with a small amount of chicken and pork and 1 piece of beef; no prawns or veg. When ordering I was short changed by £5. It was sorted, but you wonder ...

We tried this Chinese for our evening meal tonight as it seemed quite popular in the high street. There is another Chinese takeaway across the road, but as we don’t know the area we went to the one which had the most people going in! The food hygiene rating is a 4, which was good to see on display in the window. The staff were very friendly when ordering and after a short 15 minute wait our food was ready. The food was generally ok, however we found the meat in the chicken fried rice and special chow mien very chewy! However, the chicken curry and smoked chilli chicken was delicious. The potions were a good size and we probably would give it another try if back in the area.

Absolutely shocking experience!!Having a small personal celebration so decided on a Chinese to save cooking. Unfortunately, we couldn't get our usual order from Golden River as it was closed being a Tuesday so went to Tiger Chan, Never again!!!...Firstly, a pretty small order which costs around £16 but their price £19.20!!Next , no free Prawn crackers which we always get from Golden River,Next , The portion of chips were stone cold, had been blanched earlier on, fair enough, but not reheated so were like rubber & found an old bayleaf in the chip bag??Next, the Sweet & Sour chicken balls were hard on the outside but very doughy on the inside, which tells me the fat was too hot. Also, they were very greasy & more batter than chicken.Next, the actual sweet & sour sauce was very thin & diluted.Next, Chow Mein was ok but again the king prawns were stone cold.I live local & treat my family to a take away ever few months or so but will never order from Tiger Chan again. Ruined myself, my wife & my daughter's celebration tonight. Never Again!!!

Not even worth the one star. Got home to realise half our order was missing and when we phoned to complain the staff didn’t even apologise, just said that we hadn’t ordered properly. The food we were given was not what we ordered and it was inedible; all of it got thrown away as it was cold and very chewy. I would definitely recommend anyone to give this takeaway a miss; the food you do actually get served is absolutely vile.

Absolute thieves. Prices are ridiculous. Charge for paying by card. Charge for chopsticks. Food is way below par. Avoid, avoid, avoid. And the staff couldn’t be any ruder if they tried. Absolute disgrace of an establishment.Shut it down.

Reasonably good, not much to do while waiting and crab and sweetcorn soup was watery, full of egg at took an hour to cool enough to even attempt to eat.Wuld however recommend the sweet and sour chicken as it is good size and quantity also taste is good.

Good local Chinese take away. Excellent crab and sweet corn soup.Very good (mainly Cantonese) dishes - prawn with ginger and spring onion; beef with mushroom; lemon chicken; duck with black bean and green pepper; and crispy chilli beef. Local rice or Singapore noodles is a tasty accompaniment.

Chow mein was OK, but the sweet and sour battered chicken balls were awful, greasy, tough and tasteless... Very unimpressed overall. Better places to order from. + a £15 minimum spend to pay via card.
