As a regular client at the shop I was extremely disappointed at the way I was treated today.I had a small 1-hour session booked in for September which unfortunately I had to move because I had COVID, and then due to schedule conflicts had to move the appointment again. The second moving of the appointment I made the effort to go to the shop in person & gave far more than the shops required 48 hours notice.Today, I arrived for my appointment but was regrettably 15 minutes late. I did go to call the shop to let them know however their Google page States that their opening hours are from 11:00am so I didn't think this would be a major issue and that there would be some leeway as most shops have. For context, I have multiple tattoos from multiple shops and this has never been an issue at any of them.When I arrived, one member of the shop stared at me, didn't even say hello or apologise and bluntly stated that my artists would no longer be able to do it now.I was then told by the owner of the shop, Dean, that I would lose my deposit for this booking and that if I want to book in for any ink in the future that I would have to pay in full for my appointments. I asked if I did that and then had to move an appointment what would happen - to which I was told that as long as they have 48 hours notice they can move appointments without a problem.I appreciate that past appointments have sometimes been rescheduled, however, I have ALWAYS given far more than 48 hours notice & ultimately the shop is saying that it's not a problem, yet penalised me for doing what's required when things need to be moved.I have been a regular client at the shop for a good while & I'm a good one at that too. I'm always polite, I've booked in with multiple artists & I ALWAYS tip.Today, however, it felt like the frustrations of the shop having a busy morning were taken out on me. The attitude of the owner was absolutely abysmal & made me feel extremely uncomfortable. There was no effort on the shops part to say what we could do to fix this or to even give a warning that if I was late next time or had to reschedule that this would be the case. Instead, it was a barrage of attitude, anger and contradicting statements about the practices that the shop has to uphold.My conscience is quite clear. Today the shop lost one of if not their best customer, and an artist has lost not only today's tattoo but a regular client.To go to a shop where I've been regularly and be made to feel as uncomfortable as I have today is a disgrace.

Always had an excellent experience at Nu Tatu. I've visited a number of times over the years for piercings and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I've also got friends that have had some outstanding tattoos here. The shop is extremely well presented, clean and trendy. Would recommend to anyone.

I've done two small tattoos today. The staff was very friendly, the job was perfect and the price was sensible. I recommend this shop.

I have been here 3 times, everone is very friendly, I feel at home, just walking through the door. I like to have the same tattooist, Alyx, because she is the one who has done my tattoos. I always like to chat to everyone, especially Alyx, she's a very talented person,easy to talk to, and lve always been pleased with her work. I have a few more planned, just love having them done. Well done everyone at Nu tattoo, you are all amazing artists, and lovely people Sharon Smith.

Have used these guys three times now and I have to say it's the best experience I've had. Everything from the service and smiles at reception to the attention to detail when being tattood, they're amazing. Very accommodating and make you feel very welcome. You can park by the station for £5 a day as there's limited parking outside, but this is just a short few minutes walk away from the shopThank you guys for being genuinely interested and chatty, you've made the whole experience unforgettable.

The first time at Nu Tatu today definitely won't be my last! Absolutely amazing service from beginning to end. Friendly, welcoming, professional and polite staff. My idea was perfected by the artist and turned out better than I could have expected. The shop is spotlessly clean, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended, I will definitely be back x
