Post Office Farnworth

i have been to this post office twice and found the service very poor,told me this morn that the Amazon hub was not working and i would have to redo it via post office system...asked if other post office could do Amazon Hub and was told no! but after returning home and cancelling Amazon hub to post office system..went to another post office who informed me that there was no problem with Amazon hub after all..and got it sorted by them...make up your own minds what his motive was...not happy!

Hardly any banks left in Farnworth, so the Post Office here gets very busy at times. However, I went in yesterday and I was the only customer there with two staff on duty. Part way through serving me, the cashier decided to go to the other cashier and have a chat about some procedure or other. It could have waited as the other cashier wasn't serving anyone at that time. After a minute or two, I reminded the one serving me to come back so I could finish what I was doing. By then I had lost my train of thought and narrowly avoided making a mistake. I told him that I wasn't happy that he had walked away like that, but he didn't even apologise. Customer service in this Post Office is often sadly lacking. Occasionally it can be a better experience, but on the whole it is poor.

They have increased the services that they offer.They offer services from Amazon and DPD as well currency MoneyGram and Western Union. You can also do your personal and business banking there too including a change giving service

Went in for drivers licence renewal, gentleman was really efficient and friendly, did the job in no time, 5* from me

I have never been served by a more miserable and ignorant person in my life, young lad early 20’s.

Very poor exchange rate, online the post office said to me that for 103 pounds, they would give me 110 euro which is a very bad exchange rate compared to the rates of the post office online. Don't recommend this post office for exchanging cash

The staffs ( old asian guy and women) always try me to charge the most expensive postage for sending the parcel.I asked to send my parcel for 24h tracking service ( costs under than £5) then the guy said to me it will costs more than £7. After arguing he did 1st class with signature £5.Even I couldn't send it for tracking service .

Good customer service and a convenient phone shop built in, also made paying my bills easier

Disgraceful service from the manager. He tried to charge me parcel post when the package was clearly letter post. I asked for a bit of sellotape to stick the end flap down and he said No we are here to make money not give freebies" I got some sellotape from the card shop next door and stuck it down and because I had complained he told the girl not to accept it. Absolutely fuming where is the customer service None . Went to Swinton post office and it was £2 cheaper.I send parcels all the time from Farnworth and the rest of the staff are lovely"

Went in today, no signal to load emails etc, staff incredibly rude and confrontational, kept calling me “boss” and bro “ ridiculously bad service all round! Please get us an actual post office in farnworth as this cannot be all we have from here on in. This is madness, post office tucked at the back of a corner shop with 1 very rude guy behind the desk who really hates his job. Thanks. The absolute worst, avoid the whole place and go bolton for your postal needs
