Farley meadows campsite

A great location near to my favourite spot at Darley Dale only a 40 minute walk. This site has electric hookup and a very clean toilet and shower. Would recommend. Reasonably priced and the lady who owns it is nice.

A good site but the grass needed cutting and the road leading up to the farm was very steep.

What a gem of a campsite in a fabulous location! Cannot recommend enough if you want rest and relaxation it has everything you need. Owners were really nice and friendly too. I did not want to leave when it was time to go.

Nice site with decent facilities, nice views across the valley

Good little campsite. The only downside were the fact there's only one cubicle in the men's toilets and one shower room. Other than that it has everything you need. Great views and nice walk into town if you don't mind the walk back up the hill!!

A lovely little site very friendly owners.We paid £25 a night for camping and feel the facilities and upkeep of the site left much to be desired.We stayed three nights there were 20 individuals using the site during that time. There was one shower for all these people. The shower was situated in a shed with a toilet. There was a smaller trailer type building containing portaloos which smelled all the time we were there. There were toilet roll dispensers which were empty and were not refilled during our visit. Non of the facilities were cleaned while we were there.£25 was too much to pay in our opinion. I'm sorry to write such a scathing review but this is a report on the experience we had. We will not be back.

Arrived to stay the night facilities not cleaned no toliet roll in any toliet rubbish hadn't been taken away and left in a pile. shower cubicle not clean grass and hair all over it, considering we had spoken and booked the day before you would expect the owner to have checked these things... on the other hand communication with the owner was fabulous and she did get back to us quickly but unfortunately on arrival we were extremely disappointed so we moved on and did not stay... would not recommend

We must be on top of the world with uninterrupted country views all around us and Matlock down in the valley. We have the entire site to ourselves so think we might just keep it a secret.
