It's a lovely little nature reserve with a Pond and lots of wildlife. Really handy for walking my elderly dog around as it only takes about half an hour. If you've got a more active dog, it'll take about 15 minutes.Only downside is that theres often single men wandering round and none of them appear to be walking a dog. I wonder what they're up to? Probably conservation walk as they often appear from the bushes.

Not local to the area but saw this while driving by so stopped for a wonder, a lovely setting with a small res and a pleasure to see a pair of swans, I could see there were conservation happening which is really good, but there were lone men that came out of the bushes and a couple of single men hanging around I think we had disturbed them! Wouldn't visit again due to this which is a shame.

Nice quiet, quent relaxing place, lots of peaceful places to take in the natural abuance of a stunning natural place on the outskirts of a large town. You can get lost in you own thoughts and dream you are hundreds of miles away even if you only have an hour away here it's just enough time to chill and forget about all your worries and stresses xx

My wife and kids came here to find a few Geocaches. The place is very quiet and tranquil. A nice stroll which can take up to 30mins.

Love this little placeSpent my childhood in this place, fishing, birding, and even sailing across it on a homemade raft, great memoriesIf you visit, it is a nice little walk, spring and early summer are lovely as there are a lot of interesting plants and birds to be seenThere's a small grass area with some seating on the top meadow which is really pleasant to sit and have a sandwich and a cup of tea

A nice little nature reserve, although very small, and sandwiched between a busy main road, a railway line and several industrial facilities. The small carpark often gets full due to use by local businesses. Known to be a haven for dragonflies given the right conditions.
