After reading the reviews I was really worried to have my daughter taking her test here with her own car but I cannot leave anything but praises for her examiner who put her at ease the second they met and allowed her to relax and pass her test flying colours.I wish I knew his name in order to thank himon here.My daughter name is Alice and we both thank you from the bottom of our hearts for for being a nice human being besides being a good examiner.

Cancelled my Driving Test for putting my mask down to drink. No Refund given by DVSA, £62 lost! Rude examiner, I highly recommended avoiding it if you can. Shortage of tests and they cancel my test for something petty like that!!

I have had 3 tests here and all bad experiences. I understand they I failed because of my driving but the attitude and disrespect of the examiners are awful. Please go to another test centre.I have asthma and exempt from wearing the mask while driving. Even though I still wore it because I wanted to feel safer. I asked him if I could take it off and he refused to even see my exemption papers and threatened to cancel the test if I took the mask off. I thought The next guy Terry I get would be a bit more polite but he also had a mask fetish and instructed me to tighten it around my ears and face numerous times. There is only so much you can tighten a blue surgical mask. I tried to remain calm and do what he wanted but he was so aggravated. I also wear glasses and this caused it the sip off. I don't know why they are so angry and have rules other places don't have. It almost feels racist.

I passed on 3rd attempt. The last two times were in St Albans DVSA centre. Both times examiners were very friendly and professional. Acted as humans, not robots, and were not looking to fail you if you drove safely and didn't make silly mistakes. And the city itself is charming to drive around.

The examiner was ver friendly at st. Albans dvsa centre. He made me very comfortable so I was able to clear my driving test in first attempt itself. Thanks to the examiner.

Paul, my examiner was very polite and explained everything clearly before we set off. His instructions on the road were delivered in a calm and concise manner which really helped focus. In my mind, he also did a great job at objectively assessing my driving skills.

Passed my third attempt yesterday in atrocious monsoon weather. My examiner was Steve who had failed me 7 months earlier - for what really was a serious error, so I cannot blame him - and I was a nervous wreck even before I started the test, but he managed to put me at ease and calm me down, so that even when I initially goofed up a manoeuvre, I felt ok to correct it without becoming upset. He really is very fair and very friendly - highly recommended (and thank you, if ever he reads this review).
