Direct Wood Flooring

Straight forward and had what I needed. Only issue is the ridiculous and extortionate delivery charges.I just needed a small amount of parquet flooring and they had the exact stuff I was looking for. I couldn't find it anywhere else and knew the delivery charges upfront, so nothing was hidden. Due to my own stupid fault, I under ordered and had to order another pack with another £40 delivery charge. Now although that was my fault, there are plenty of couriers out there who would ship one pack of flooring for under £10. They would also have shipped the first 2 packs for that price too. For £40 I would also expect next day express delivery, however the delivery was planned for 3 working days time but then didn’t turn up and ended being another 2 days. I will say they did refund me half the delivery charge for this, but i had to ask.I don't feel that DWF are helping and looking after customers by not bothering to offer cheaper courier options. That's pretty poor customer service in my eyes. I did call and explain my problem when I needed the extra pack and they said they must get that question 20 times a day. If that's the case then they obviously need to address it and provide more shipping options.

Unhelpful to the point of being rude to try and help resolve a problem with delivery when you can't get hold of anyone. I have emailed and called so there is no reason why you can't track my order.

I spoke to Nick and the order process went smoothly. Great service.Now it only remains to see if the delivery service is as good.
