Lacey Cakes Wakefield

A fantastic cake from Lacey Cakes! It looked fabulous and tasted divine. We had a chocolate cake and it was so light and moist. Dealing with Jane was also a pleasure. Fantastic response times, easy ordering and a lovely woman.

Although we shared ideas before the date, we did not see the cake before the date. But we needn’t have been worried. The cake was fantastic, tasted delicious and fitted neatly into the theme of the wedding. The flowers on the side made it so special. A big than you to Jane who produced a magical creation. I have no hesitation in recommending her for future cakes.

Jane created an absolutely stunning cake for my girlfriend’s 30th birthday - at fairly short notice too. Not only was the cake nice to look at, it tasted lovely. Rich and chocolatey, but still light and moist. I’ll definitely be coming back to Jane in the future! I can’t recommend her enough.

I received one of Jane’s cakes as a birthday gift. It was an order from overseas (US) and I am informed Jane was very helpful during the ordering process resulting in a stress free experience and ensuring the cake was both exactly what was wanted and available to be collected at the designated time. On collection Jane was very friendly and welcoming and the cake itself was beautifully presented. The detail of the badge was very impressive and my reaction was to say “Oh wow”. It was a chocolate orange cake and everyone who had a slice agreed it was delicious, moist and full of flavour. The sizing was very generous too, lots of cake to share with everyone. I would highly recommend Lacey Cakes to anyone who wants to make an occasion that bit more special.

I ordered this wonderful cake from Jane for my husbands birthday. He is a huge Lord of the Rings/Hobbit film fan so this was absolutely perfect for him. We all loved the chocolate sponge and vanilla filling, it was delicious! Will be ordering again. Thank you x

This is the 3 cakes from Jane now. We just had a cake for our daughters birthday and safe to say it was out of this world. We gave basic design ideads and colours to Jane and she did the rest. Would recomomend to anyone looking for a cake.

Lacey Cakes made us an absolutely beautiful wedding cake. It was even better than we could have imagined. Jane took on board our rough ideas for the cake and added her own touches to make it extra special. The iced flowers in particular were incredible! The choice of flavours at Lacey Cakes was extensive and we struggled to choose between them! In the end we went for carrot & walnut, old English caramel and Cherry Bakewell for the 3 tiers and all 3 were delicious.Jane was very responsive on emails, which made things really easy to arrange. We also really appreciated her flexibility and kindness when we had to postpone the wedding due to covid and rearrange for a different date.On the day itself, Jane delivered the cake to the venue and spent time ensuring it looked perfect for when the guests arrived.We can't thank Lacey Cakes enough for our dream cake! :-)
