I have recently purchased a Large Sideboard from Western Carpets and was thrilled by not only the furniture, but also the knowledge and helpfulness of the staff. They showed an interest in what I was looking for and helped me find the exact thing I wanted. The sideboard was very well priced and is superb quality. Waste of time, unprofessional and unhelpful staffThe order of the bed started very well, shortly after placing the order I had a phone call stating waiting time of 2 weeks. After 2 weeks I chased the order to find out they are expecting it in next couple of days and hopefully ship it soon after. Quote: We have your bed coming in this Friday and we will dispatch it Monday or Tuesday of Next week . I think you will have it in the next 10-14 days". The email didn't make sense

We bought various items of oak furniture from Pine & Oak World and have since placed an order for more in the same range! We found the staff at the Ivybridge store to be most helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Delivery of what we have received so far was without fault. Delivery staff were helpful, they unwrapped everything, assembled the table and even took the packaging away. The furniture itself appears to be of the highest standard and good value too. We compared their prices with others in the area and they couldn’t come close. Also, Pine & Oak World keep a stock of furniture ready for delivery or take away whereas other stores had at least a six week lead time. Everything was in stock, ordering, payment and delivery was an absolute breeze! Highly recommended. Pleasure to do business with. Thanks you!

I just wanted to thank you all for a wonderful service. As a pensioner it's important for me to know i can trust a company to meet or even exceed my expectations and i was overjoyed with my experience.The choice and advice was great. I only wanted a sideboard but ended up renewing my carpets and wardrobes too as the price and service were brilliant! The carpet fitters and the furniture men were so helpful and meticulous. Another 1st class, smooth delivery, of yet another quality item purchased from Western Carpest & Pine. Cannot fault quality and level of service. A real find, had my carpet fitted in the morning and the furniture arrived early afternoon and all on interest free. Thanks guys for making our Xmas. Will definitely be back xx

We have shopped in WCP for furniture and carpeting and found the company competitive in their prices.So when we decided to have our living room dining room and small foyer carpet replaced with oak board we went to WCP thinking we could trust them to carry out the work.We wanted the flooring to be fitted under the skirting as it’s a better finish.My wife and I left the fitter alone to complete the work, all looked well after-the first day, the flooring seemed to be going down well.On the second day when I returned from work my wife pointed out the absolute travesty of a job that had been done on the skirting.Instead of replacing the skirting as I was sure would have been the sensible way and included in the substantial cost, the fitter had stuck the old stained , dented skirting back on the wall with caulking, using way too much so the joints and skirting stood proud of the walls.I went to WCP to ask for an explanation, they said that this was normal practice and I should sand down and paint the skirting and fill all the gaps with caulk.I don’t expect to complete work that I have paid for, I would have expected new skirting and it to be painted prior to fitting.After some debating they agreed to give me new skirting to fit myself ( I’m an ex Chippy) but when I tried to remove a length of skirting it created so much damage that I decided not to replace but to make as good as possible the old skirting.I can’t upload the photos to highlight this issue but you can be assured I won’t be using WCP again and would NOT recommend them after this experience.Also as a precaution do not pay the full amount up front as this reduces your clout if things go awry.They have our money and it seems that’s all they’re interested in, hence this review!!!

We have nine wooden furniture items from this company and they’re of such great quality.I recently had an aftercare question and they went above and beyond to help me. We would highly recommended them for their products and great customer service :)
