Bluebell Lakes

Did a 72hr session on Mallard....1-3/8/23...first time at the complex. Place is generally clean and tidy. Obviously the fish and fishing is not in doubt, but VERY disappointed with the overall peg quality and the distance between each peg on all lakes. Obviously maximising revenue, but come on, reduce the amount of pegs, give more space between anglers, particularly when you're allowing 3 rods per guest. And for heavens sake, improve the pegs.....box them off with wooden sleepers, level the ground and cover with bark or stone chips for a more pleasurable and cleaner experience. I was on peg 21 Mallard.....just a sand, grit and mud peg on uneven ground....about the best I could find on the day. But heavy rain meant all gear was splattered with grit and sand ....some folks have expensive reels, alarms etc which they should not get covered in grit at a so called première venue. Bailiff stated that he was expecting 130 guests over the long weekend for 3 days...that's a whopping £13,650 income in just 3 days.....reduce the number of pegs and spend some money of bark, wooden sleepers, platforms and stone.....and then I'd come again...until then, sorry...not a chance.....too much emphasis on profit sadly. Take a look at Merrington Lakes, Shropshire...they've got it spot on !!!!! ( and cheaper!!!)

This is a very well set out angling complex. if your a carp angler there 5 lakes holding carp in excess of 50lb also specimen coarse fish. Tackel shop, showers and toilets.

A fantastic place. An amazing environment with lots of wildlife. The fish are immaculate with amazing colours. Great facilities. Lovely people. Booked 4 nights, didn't want to leave, stayed for 8. Caught 8 carp the biggest, a 31lb mirror + a 27 and a 26lb. Got home today, going back next week. Can't wait. Lindi & Steve from Oz

Over crowded, too many swims. Clicky bailiff. People casting over all your three rods. Bait boats all over the lake crossing multiple swims. Rushing/running to put a bucket in a swim to get it. Don't waste your money or time

Fantasic place to fish.very well looked after, very friendly place aswell as welcoming.Been fishing here about 9 years now and always catch. The fish are stunning quality and very well looked after.The toilet and shower facilities are are super clean and well maintained

the reason for my review ls low bailiff is rude and aggressive just 1 of 3 encounters with the bailiff (he told my friend he'd better move his rods as his friend is coming and if you don't there will be trouble ) the bailiff is in my opinion just a big bully! however on a positive note the shop staff were very helpful a friendly and I will fish there again make sure far away from that obnoxious bully person

Big lakes, quite a few of them as well an all hard lakes and gets rammed coz there are some very big carp in them that don't come out very often. For me it's an over rated venue. 5/10
