I had an underfloor leak caused by mice chewing a plastic heating pipe. As far as integra are concerned, I have nothing but praise for the way they handled the claim.Unfortunately they did involve a loss adjusters, Crawfords and they were not very efficient and delayed the claim due to poor handling.I contacted Integra to complain and they became involved with the loss adjusters and the whole claim was settled quickly from that point on.

If I could give this company a minus I would, they rejected my claim for water damage for my bathroom due to a cracked shower tray as they said the mastic gave way, even though an independent plumber said the mastic was perfect and it was not wet in that area. They actually guessed it was that as there was no proof, now I have an expensive 6k plus bill for something insurance should cover, you cannot turn down a claim due to a surveyor speculating but they have, ombudsman and my solicitor will be in touch. If you choose this company you are making a horrendous judgement as I did. The sooner this blight on the industry goes out of business the better . Do not touch with a bargepole

Crooks without scruples! Avoid this company they are a scam. They like to take your money but they do not like to pay out and will use every cheating trick in the book to not have to pay out. Having had a large portion of collapsed ceiling in the bathroom we contacted the insurance and eventually they sent a surveyor. The surveyortold us that it was wear and tear but we would be covered and ask us to sign something on the tablet to agree for a small sum of money so we can get the repaired done ourselves. Seemed a bit odd normally the insurance companies send in someone to repair the job. Please make sure you are reading what he is asking you to sign to because he's telling one thing the surveyor and asking you to agree to something else. Even though this was clearly storm damage from his pictures you could see many of the slates on the roof had been moved. Having had no information or letter I chased up the company to be told bluntly to my surprise the surveyor told you that you would not be covered. I explained that this was not possible he told us that we would be covered and then the chap went back and put me on hold for a long time and returned to tell me that it would definitely not be covered and the surveyor was not correct in telling me this. I said why not and he said well what do you mean you want me to read through your whole insurance schedule in a very rude blunt stroppy and confrontational tone. At the very least I requested a letter explaining the reasons why we would not be covered and we are still waiting there is no letter no messages nothing. This is pretty standard procedure at least a letter. They do not reply to emails you have to chase them and chase them with no results.I looked at the reviews that this company received from other people dreadful. The whole point of having insurance is to protect you in times like this. Unfortunately that peace of mind is a nightmare with this company. False sense of security.

Absolute horrendous company, I have an issue where water is leaking through my main roof when it rains was told by three different building companies it was due to storm damage. Integra sent out a serveyor which I think he needs to go back and learn his job, he didn't go up on the roof externall or internal..didn't send a drone up just looked at it from out the back but told me yes it's storm damage then integra have rejected the claim stating he said it wasnt storm damage at all. I have small children in the house and the leak is getting worse I have no money to cover the repair cost and when I explained this to them they just said that isn't our problem your claim is rejected. It took nearly seven weeks for them to send the serveryor, said I would get a copy of the report which I still haven't got. I wouldn't recommend this company. Absolute pointless being insured with these.

Cowboy outfit. Try and wriggle out of claims, when they do accept them they take several weeks to get going, instruct equally cowboy outfits, avoid calls and emails. Really poor service. Instructing my barrister Monday as they took clothes to professionally clean and said 3 weeks return service, they are still missing after 4 weeks, no updates, no comms. Avoid at all costs

Just another insurance company who will try and wriggle their way out of paying a claim by quoting small print. These companies should be stopped as they are basically scam artists.Shame also on Hastings Direct who I've used for years for brokering such companies.AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Dreadful, thieving and incompetent company who show no compassion or care ! Their customer service is appalling and they can’t be trusted. Gone to Ombudsman with my issues with this bunch of cowboys from Bradford. Brokers need to disown them. All Integra want is money! Avoid them !

Utterly Pointless being insured with this company!!!I contacted them regarding a claim for damage to the outside of my property caused by trees not on my land and not owned by me. Having provided photographs and a detailed summary of the issue I waited for their response. Like others reporting the inadequacies of this company we heard nothing for weeks. I then called them to find out what was happening and during the phone call they assessed the details of the claim, looked at the photos and said we weren’t covered. Why it took weeks for this to happen and only happened after I called them is very poor customer service.They said that the issue should have been dealt with immediately and “in the policy documents” it clearly states I’m not covered. Policy wording is written so cleverly that no matter whether you read it or not you have no idea what it actually means and whether you’re covered or not.As the trees were growing not on land owned by me and a high wall disguised the initial grow how was I supposed to act “immediately”.They are clearly a company who likes to take your money, but has absolutely no interest in ever paying out. I have full accidental protection both inside and out and clearly it’s a complete waste of money!!I shall be contacting my broker and telling them that the company is beyond useless and that no one should be wasting their hard earned money with them.Like many customers I’m sure that the company will be recommended via a broker so do your homework before accepting the cover or lack of cover as I’m sure many will find.

Stay away from this company.HI,I took out insurance via you, therefore this complaint is with you in mind.I have never used my insurance in the past, first time and what an absolute joke!I had a call from my wife around 1600 hrs Friday 3rd Feb, I got home to my boiler leaking, water running through the ceiling and down the walls, I called Grove and Dean, they passed me onto Integra, they passed me onto NPA. NPA informed me that they would get a plumber to me (check telephone conversation). This did not happen, I rang several times, in the end asking the lady on the phone who she worked for, she was unsure at first (unbelievable) then informed me.Rang again today, still no sign of a plumber.WOrst service you could possibly have with a young child in the house, no hot water all weekend and still today.

Make sure you check the small print of your insurance policy, and hope that these folks are not providing the cover. My 1st claim ever, which was genuine after dropping a TV in its box and apparently they cannot payout because there's only internal damage to the screen and not external physical damage. And I had to chase them for the answer!Please avoid. No wonder they have a low rating. Very poor.
