The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Cross & St. Michael

It's a wonderful church and close to many Greek Orthodox people, but unfortunately priest Vasilis is extremely rude and makes you want not to go back.He sents people away from the church with his bad attitude and I don't understand why he is still there when everybody keeps complaining about him. To avoid any misunderstanding,we are serious religious people that we don't give any chance for bad judgments. Also, priest Savvas make a big change on this church with his nice way and he always helps everybody in anyway he can. I am speaking behalf of many Greeks that we would be happy is priest Vasilis won't be there any more.

The church helpers are extremely rude and have no respect as they start counting the change while the priest is still talking. All you can hear is the sound of greedy individuals counting the change, jingling very lound which i found disgusting. The only thing this church cares about is money so avoid if you can.

This is a family oriented church, very welcoming and very well looked after..Fr Vasilli is a gem, and his dear wife Olga. It is a prayerful, peaceful church, just how a church should be! And when you step outside there are a myriad of excellent bakeries, restaurants, shops and cafes to choose from for a relaxing, pleasant Sunday afternoon. The church warden, Mihalis, is very kind and accommodating as well. God bless them all! Candle sellers too!

October 2021.Magnificent arcitecture of the church.I really enjoyed the liturgy. The priest sang first in Greek and then in english. It was pretty interesting to hear him.And his preaching after the liturgy was touchful.

As an Orthodox Christian, I love this Greek Orthodox Church, since it covers a large geographical area not only in Golders Green, but also Hampstead Heath, Central and North Finchley. The church is built in a traditional Greek style architecture and has a relatively large congregation. The church inside is very beautiful with very valuable icons. Inspires sense of awe and elation. My favourite Church in London ♥️

So lovely peaceful. I loved the new priest. He was speaking so clear, I could understood every single word. I had also my holly communion there and it was a blessed moment. Was 15 August but he didn't discount in words or procedures.I am thankful to him.

Beautiful Greek Orthodox Church dedicated to the Holy Cross and Saint Michael, previously an Anglican church, now converted to a Greek orthodox one. Nice welcoming community and a friendly and engaged priest.
