Brent, Wandsworth and Westminster Mind

On the basis if you get good service you tell one or two people, but if you get bad service, you tell everyone. I write this review of what was just Westminster MIND when I joined, and now due to restricted funding has merged with two other MIND's of other London boroughs.If you've got a complaint forget about it. The chief executive will not take it seriously, and one unintended consequence could be your access to this service can be put at risk, as she's got a duty to protect her staff from aggression". The standard reflex response of all mental health organisations in the public sector including the National Health Service to all complaints is: the complainant was "aggressive". I will comment on a dirty tactic of the chief executive which was; to take you into a room for a private chat to "try to resolve the issue"; but this is the nasty part; a lackey will shortly come along to say "I need this room to see a client" thus ending the "chat". But the rub is

Unresponsive. Even to a formal complaint. Impossible to get a response. When I've asked for advice or support, I have had no email or call back. Hugely disappointing.

Sad place with bullying staff who will happily use fake threats to intimate anyone they feel and ruin people's life's

Really disappointing with the service and staff. I suffer from horrific nightmares and some personal issues for over 10 years. I have explained to the therapist there are days I can't sleep AT ALL for 2 days and it can be big issue for me as I work full-time. I also suffer from anxiety for a long time and I really need help. My GP also suggested to refer myself so I did about 2 months ago. I happened that close member of my family died 2 weeks before my session. I was very emotional about it but I have explained twice it's not the reason I referred myself to the therapy. Seems like no one listened or cared. I took the time off work to travel all the way there hoping someone help me. After 3 days I received a letter from the therapist V. saying they won't provide me with grieving therapy because it's less than 6 months. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING of them. I didn't ask for grieving therapy and I explained my reason I referred myself. Did no one listened me??? I don't understand why this person even works there if she doesn't even care about what people saying.
