Fantastic gliding club. Had a great day out learning to glide. The club is run very professionally and very safely. A great amount of teamwork is needed launching a glider into the air from the winchman to the control tower to the guy hitching the tow rope up.The scenery is superb with the airfield is overlooked by Brent Tor and The church of Saint Michael. Very friendly and a nice place to visit.

My sister bought a trial flight at Dartmoor glider society .Probably one of the best presents I have received .Not the most modern fleat .Not the biggest membership really freindly people .A great place to spend the day .Great views of Dartmoor .The flight training is good .As with so many small clubs on rainy days lots of general maintenance around the club to doA place I wish to continue membership of for a long timeHope to see you there soon on your flight day .

Excellent location for a trail flight or to learn to soar with a great bunch of people too.
