German Lane Fishery

Two good size ponds with plenty of large fish. At £6 for up to 3 rods reasonably priced to.

My first visit was at dawn on a Saturday morning after what looked like a busy Friday (after a quick scout around on the previous Friday afternoon). I wasn't expecting much fish activity but how wrong was I ... the F1's were first to show but very soon the smaller carp were wanting in on what I had to offer... No sooner as they started, I was bagging up. The silver fish kept bites coming all day and they were pretty much all in good nick. Considering I had the place to myself for at least the first two hours made it all the more memorable. I'd definitely recommend this place. Clean with plenty of bins provided, peaceful and scenic. Friendly staff too, quick to answer questions prior to visiting. Well worth a visit.

This place is a little gem. I fosh the donut lake at the back and bring in a good mixed bag everytime. Mainly skimmers and F1's but the odd carp, tench and roach do come out through the day. Some of the pegs could do with a makeover but aside from that it is a cheap and cheerful place to fish.

I have visited German lane fishery for the first time today. I have to be totally honest and say I have had a brilliant day out total of 15 fish 5 at 10lb the rest at 2 to 8lbs these fish punch well above their weight giving a cracking fight which reflects on the health of the water. The venue is clean and tidy and the owner a real gentleman who is friendly and chatty. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone who wants a enjoy a busy days fishing. Also for beginners it would be an excellent place to gain experience..... will definitely be back thanks

Update - still like this spot but getting bored catching 1lb / 2lb carp and silvers. Stocking policy needs looking at here , put some tench/roach/bream etc in for a bit of variety

Nice little fishery natural pegs on the first lake as you drive in better size of carp and big bream to I fished 2 rods 1 with 8mm pellets plain with Rodin red sauce dipped just before casting and on that I caught 18 carp and 4 bream and other rod 3 piece of sweet corn on a hair rig I caught a lot more fish on this method but a lot smaller too second lake is more of a match lake were al common methods work and toilets and behind the farm house acros the road cheap too £6 a day

1st time visit and loved it. Nice and clean, spacious pegs and no idiots on. Caught plenty and the carp can fight whatever their size. Will be going back

One of them places! Try it once , you have to Go fishing again ,& again .take on most bait's and plenty of fish of all species grate for younger kids & beginners. Try it you love it.

One of the best days fishing ive ever had, Starting on the top lake only catching two so i decided to move down to the bottom turns out it was the best decision i caught 14 in total 10 of them being very well sized carp. I broke my PB twice in one day at this place would 100% recommend
