Interesting golf course but not one I would visit again in the winter with 18 winter greens in operation them also being part of the normal fairway, rough and small and with the temporary tees a greatly reduced overall distance .

Staff were nonchalant on arrival and their was no obvious reception or welcome. Said greens were playable, they were not. It was excessive and had more sand than the bunkers. Large groups playing very slowly and nobody playing through. Left after 14th as it had taken over 2.5 hours. It’s a pity as the club house looked nice. As a visitor they should have reimbursed the green fee. It was unplayable. Overall disappointment.

Beautiful course and in excellent condition. Usually there’s always something you could pick out as not being great about a course/club but that wasn’t the case here. It’s not particularly local for me but I’d definitely make the trip again. Great clubhouse and friendly staff too.

Front 9 definitely needs signs to tell u where the next hole is!! Nice views, interesting holes… a bit pricey …tough rough n blind holes.

Course was in good condition and a fair test. Very short front nine with a longer back nine. Would benefit with some signs for the next tee on certain holes. Very limited catering available yesterday. Clubhouse is in a good setting overlooking the course. Worth a visit.

Ripon City Golf Club
Our society had a warm welcome and the food we were served was excellent. The golf course was in great condition, has many interesting holes and is a good test. The clubhouse has a great balcony overlooking the course and a good selection of drinks are available. I would definitely recommend

Hard course for higher handicappers (5/6/7 in particular). Not clear where to go here, luckily we had a buggy. Apart from that part good course, great staff and pro.

Ripon City Golf Club
A short front 9 with a combination of clever par3's and short clever par4's and a back nine 800 yards longer and flatter. Great condition and very fair. We will return. The clubhouse Ambience is good. The catering and bar staff have wonderful sunny characters, very helpful, and the lead Chef has his own recipes for pastries and gravy. Again, we will be coming back.
