Enjoyed the whole experience apart for the waiting but anticipation made it feel like Christmas. Michael the salesman was friendly, relaxed and had a reassuring style that made you feel he knew what he was doing and covered every aspect of buying the car so no surprises. Felt no pressure to do anything I did not want to do and I would definitely recommend buying a new car from here. Also the Honda jazz has been a smooth, comfortable easy drive making me a new convert to automatics .

Brought my bike in for a check to them, as it is stopping sometimes, it’s noisy and shakes while driving. I’ve been told they can book it in 3 weeks (ridiculously long time) then it took them 20mins to look at it and 100£ (just to look at the bike). They’ve just look at it, started it and said everything is fine. 3 weeks later the bike keeps driving worst and worst and stops more often.

Bought our new Kia Ceed from Glyn Hopkin Kia, absolutely fantastic service from Andrew White! He provided us with updates throughout the process and kept us informed of the wait time and when we could expect it.

I had my Honda serviced today and overall I was satisfied with the work.What the organisation did well:Reception was very clean and Covid safe. My car key was cleaned with a disinfectant wipe before being returned to me. The service was completed quickly and I was able to pick up the car earlier than expected. After checking my car I was pleased to see that all work had been completed as requested and the windscreen washer fluid had been topped up which is often overlooked by garages.Stepping forward, how I believe Glyn Hopkins could further improve:The courtesy car was not very clean, I did complain to the service manager and he did offer to clean it. Fortunately they had cleaner and I was happy to clean the car myself. I believe the key touch points had been done however a dusty console in these Covid times leaves a poor impression of the organisation. Perhaps I'm a little fussy but I would have liked the car to be as clean as the high standards seen in the reception area.Secondly, upon collecting my car the health check was all green however the brake pads front and back were amber due to having 6mm pads and discs a slight lip." However my brakes had been independently serviced two months ago where the rear pads were replaced and I was told discs and front pads were good. I asked the service manager how could my rear pads be worn in under two months

A couple of minor glitches with paperwork, otherwise a good sales experience. Love the car, all it is missing is parking itself. People love the colour.It is an unusual car to by for a wheelchair user, you have to be strong enough to lift a manual chair into the back and lie it down, but I am 84 and manage that. Hand controls were installed.

Brilliant customer service from Glynn Hopkins Honda, Colchester. Washed my car and fixing it, really surprised when I was called and told they changed my battery without having to pay extra. THANK YOU to Emma and the other nice lady at the reception and to everyone.

Car taken in for diagnostic for ABS failing. Having paid in the region of £200, we would expect a solution, however we were disappointed. It was suggested that the steering was pulling to one side that was probably the the problem. They rectified the pull but not the ABS. Next step" was to replace the drive shafts at a cost of £2000 + ( and a wait of between 7 to 9 weeks) with no guarantee of it working. It seems we were expected to pay for replacing random parts at huge expense until the right part was accidently found! In what world is this reasonable?"
