Recently had to sell my late father -in-laws property. Jack White did the valuation and found our buyer. We had 4 viewings and 2 offers. He listened to us, found the right buyers and was always ready to answer any questions. Dean Starkey took over once solicitors where involved and both where polite, friendly and cheerful. Nothing was too much trouble for either of them. We were always kept up-to-date with all information. We were so grateful for their attitude in this emotionally difficult time for us. Our sale couldn't have gone any smoother. So thank you both and the rest of the team at Abbotts Basildon for all of your support. I would definitely recommend them to buy or sell your property

The whole team was amazing. Especially Dean. Excellent customer service. He was calling/ emailing us immediately after any updates. We got the keys for our first home and we are more than thankful to the whole team.

Visited Abbotts few months ago around mid second quarter and came across the Dean Starkey who took the time and actually listened to what we were looking for. Didn't judge, honest from the beginning.Every property he showed us ticked the basic requirements we had asked for.Even though we went for a property not in the location we began our search in, Dean was nothing but an absolute gem.He is honest, patient and remarkable customer service skills.Be honest with him and he will find you properties you are looking for.Of all the agencies I've used, Dean from Abbotts stand out. From the beginning till date, he has been professional, no BS, no sugar coating, time wasting. That's what I asked for and he did not disappoint one bit.Even though we ended up making an offer elsewhere (mainly to do with location) we decided to use Dean's recommended surveyor.We know who we will go to when it's time to sell.It's the people who work there make the brand and Dean upholds those values.

On the whole, Abbotts were good. They valued the property. Marketed the property really well including listening to advice to make changes.The property went under offer within first week or so of being on the market. After that, the agent worked with me in conjunction with the solicitors. Helped to chase them up if ever they were behind. This was useful as there were stages in the process when this was occurring.There were tines when they maybe put too much pressure on legal team without giving them time to act.The property belonged to my late mother; it was my responsibility as the executor to obtain probate in order this sale to complete. As the probate application was taking a long time, I was asked if I would be happy to rent out the property to the buyer until the sale completed. This is actually illegal and I'd encourage agents to know the law.There were also points in the process (,including towards the end) where the agent was suggesting that the buyer was threatening to drop out. This helps no one and seems to be a tactic that agents used to speed up a process. However, in reality, it only affects people's mental health. Especially as I was not the person delaying the process. I'd encourage the agent to think about this when working with other sellers. Unless it is a reality,, its not a hood idea to use this.However, as I said at the beginning, overall, I am happy with the service they provided and I would use them again in the future.

Dean Starkey has been very supportive during the sale of my late mothers property. He has always kept me up to date with regular calls. . He always deals with any queries effectively . He is very well mannered & polite and made the whole process easier than I had anticipated.

We have a worked closely with the team in Basildon since 2004, when we first started buying properties and letting them out. We have always found the teams there (Sales and Lettings) to be very professional, helpful, friendly and efficient. What a fantastic service from start to finish! I wanted to say a big Thank you to Jack White whose enthusiasm was contagious! This young man was instrumental in getting my house on the market. He talked me through the agreement and he really listened to what I wanted. My house sold after the first viewing!!!! Abbotts Letting is great with lovely staff. Reece is such a wonderful personnel and deliver within a short time.

Awesome service from start to finish. Jordon was the original valuator when we got the process started. Once we went ahead with instructing Abbotts, due to Jordan’s promotion, Jack popped over to sort the paper work etc and then from then Dean was our go to guy for everything. All 3 of these guys made the whole process simple. Whenever we needed help with anything they were there to help. I cannot recommend Abbotts enough!
