Bark Busters Dog Training Watford

Lynne has been amazing at helping us understand our 2 year old Cockerpoo better and find ways to make him happier and easier to deal with. We have been very impressed with the service from Bark Busters and would highly recommend Lynne.

We adopted a rescue adult Rottie that had some bad habits and lacked recall and on the lead training. To ensure that he was good on the lead, so that he could be walked safely, we decided to contact Bark Busters as they were able to provide a local dog trainer. Lynn carried out an initial 3 hour visit to our home and provided lots of advice and guidance on how to deal with all the issues we were concerned about. By the end of the initial visit we were able to walk him calmly on the lead and had solutions to a number of the bad habits. Lynn provided us with a training routine to follow (for us and the dog!) and further advice on ensuring that he settled in to our home and family. We are so grateful for the help Lynn has provided and I would definitely recommend her.

Had my first lesson with Lynne and it was great. My dog is reactive to dogs and wants to pull on her lead when walking. Lynne showed me ways to help with this and the next day I put these into practice and wow what a difference. I was in control when we went for a walk. She listened to what I said. Didn’t come across any dogs but I was so pleased with my dog and how she behaved. Unbelievable difference after one lesson.Lynne also showed me how to do muzzle training and again the next day I did this with my dog and she was fantastic.Highly highly recommend Bark Busters.

It has been just over two weeks since Lynn visited us and we could not be happier with the progress our 3 year old Shih Tzu has made. The difference in our pet, in such a short amount of time, has been superb! When Lynn came for her first visit we were amazed at how quickly she was able to demonstrate our pets ability to behave and respond to commands. Lynn was very clear in her instructions and information for us, and was able to communicate very clearly and simply, what we need to do to aid our dog in his and our progress. We have spoken to Lynn since her visit and she has given us advice on moving forward and we will be in contact with her again. It is reassuring to know that even when Lynn left we will continue to have her support and communication. Lynn is clearly very passionate about her work and we would like to thank her for her help and her continuing help in the future.

We met Lynn today for the first time and we were very happy with the way it went. Clear instructions, explaining the do's and don'ts and the reasons why dog's behave the way they do. We, as first time dog owners wished we had contacted Lynn at Bark Busters earlier.

I have two rescue dogs, one 8 years & one 10 years. The main issues I had were being strong & pulling on the lead plus a lot of barking when getting ready to go out for walk and the same when the front door rings. I wasn’t sure that being older if they could have habits corrected. The lead pulling was corrected by a ‘Canning Collar’ and barking by shouting ‘Blah’ at them.

It is a case of the family needs as much training as our very outspoken German Shepherd. Because Ripley wasn’t very well for several months when we brought her home, we have ‘babied’ her and she now thinks she is in charge. Lynn gave very sound advice on how to move forward with Ripley’s training and demonstrated these actions in our home. Lynn is positive and thorough and we all behaved very well while she was here!

Lynn was very knowledgeable, friendly and keen to help us with the problems we were having. She tailored the training for our dog and for the problems we were having. She went through each exercise with us to make sure we knew what we had to do and then left clear instructions. Bailey responded really well to Lynn and since she came over we have seen a huge improvement. Bailey no longer digs in the garden, she doesn't steal shoes or socks and hardly ever barks. Lynn came back a few weeks later and showed us how to lead train Bailey and checked that we were competing all training exercises properly. We would definitely recommend Bark Busters and Lynn to others that are looking for training for their dog.

We had our first training session with Lynn today who was brilliant she instantly put us at ease and never criticised us she worked with us and our dog Bailey and gave us some valuable tips and insight in how to manage his behaviour better after one visit we feel so much clearer on how to move forward with our pet and will practice daily with the exercises she has shown us.
