Pentagon Derby | Vauxhall and Motability

Got a used car on PCP with them and was given every salesman tactic in the book. Felt very forced and that the salesman took advantage of the fact I needed a car quick and was a younger customer, didn't feel there much empathy and only tried to suit my needs when I threatened to pull out of the deal, maybe I'm just not built for salesmen in general but there just wasn't a good vibe. That being said they did make it so I could get the car asap even with some finance complications so am grateful for that.I did work with another guy who seemed to pressure me less I think he might have noticed I was anxious. He reassured me on how insurance, road tax, servicing and all the little details work as well as being prompt and polite when responding to emails.The car itself is good and hasn't got much wrong with it. One issue is it was advertised with GPS but didn't actually have it. Hopefully I won't need to return unless I find a new vauxhall that I really like.Overall, not a horrible experience but not as amazing as some of the other reviews. If you're new to the whole car buying/PCP/hp process just do your research and be confident with what you want.

Excellent purchase experience. Everything was made extremely easy and efficient by Matt. Informative but not over pushy. Very flexible about the collection. Pleasant experience from start to finish and I'd be happy to return in the future.

We reserved the car we were interested in. Appointment to view arranged the next day. Tom Brown sent us very helpful video about the car and accompanied us on test drive. Tom was very good at sorting out our queries when we contacted him later.Collected car few days later and once again Tom was very thorough in explaining the different features of the car to us before we drove off. We're very pleased with the car and would have no hesitation in recommending Pentagon for their service and attention to detail.

Went in today after they couldn't source the fault I reported over Android auto. The mechanic was very understanding - it was, in the end, my phone at fault - and he didn't make me feel stupid asking any of my questions. They also did not try to charge me unnecessarily - and were friendly and generous with their time. I've never had a problem with them and I've used them for years, I thoroughly recommend them.

Brilliant customer service provided by Matt. Managed to turn the car around quick and worked within our busy schedule. Made us feel welcome in the showroom and went the extra mile to ensure everything was sorted for my new car purchase. Will be happy to use this garage again!

I had been thinking about changing my car for quite a while. I had been to a couple of well known car supermarkets to browse and see what was available but there was nothing to get excited over. I decided though that a Corsa was a possibility but I wanted ‘white’. One Monday morning on impulse I visited Pentagon Derby and they had two white Corsa’s for sale. A salesman ‘Vick’ was outside around the cars and he came over to me. After some discussions he made an appointment to return on Thursday which gave me time to think about it. (It takes me a while to mentally let go of my old car). When I viewed the cars online on Tuesday morning, one of the white Corsa’s had been sold. I therefore reserved the other one straight away. I had a test drive on Thursday, completed the deal including Safeguard protection, 2 year warranty, RE-fresh cover, and the part exchange. I believe Vick gave me a good deal and I left happy now looking forward to collecting my ‘new’ car. I collected my Corsa the next day (Friday) and Vick completed the online DVLA registration and refund of the tax on my part exchange. Everything was so simple and was a stress free experience. I was very happy with the service I received from Vick and Pentagon Derby.

Pentagon Vauxhall Bodyshop Derby have done an absolutely stunning job on the repairs for my van. They were excellent at communicating with me and updated me about the repair process all the way along. They were very friendly and polite and my van is brand new again! Just a fantastic repair job, thank you so much again. Really appreciate all the hard work gone into repairing my van. It's brilliant!
