My friend bought a two piece white flares set for £34.99 on Friday. On the receipt it said it’s exchanges only which she was happy to do. When into the shop today in the Marlands at 12:30 and spoke to lady and she claimed it smelt like washing powder. My friend never washed the product. As both of us have recently worked in retail shops, we know that you shouldn’t wash a product and it wouldn’t cross our minds to do so. However under the Consumer Rights act we are eligible for an exchange as stated on the receipt. Have to admit by looking at the reviews this has happened plenty of times! I don’t understand when having the receipt and the item which hasn’t been washed at all we can’t even have an exchange for another product. It’s disgusting. I won’t be coming back to purchase anything again. If I could leave a 0/5 review I would!

I’ve come to this store as a black teenager and they’ve accused me of stealing when I was simply putting the dress back to look for another, as I go to ask for a new one to try the lady tells me no you wanted to steal get out of my store causing a massive scene and embarrassing me. Her co worker was very nice however and offered for me to try at this point I’m upset and want to leave. I want an apology in person from the racist woman.

THE WORST SHOP I HAVE EVER BEEN IN. the owner lily arora and her husband are disgusting thieving people. I was assaulted verbally and physically by lily in this shop. Calling me fat. She said she didn't want me to wear there items because my skin tone was funny. (I'm mixed race) she then said it wasn't because of my skin it was because I was fat And woman like me don't shop in her shop. (I am a size 12) reported to 101 for racial abuse and trading standards.

I have never shopped somewhere so unhygienic, with rude and unhelpful staff in my whole life. Arrived to get a body suit for a special occasion and was looking at a few items that I liked. After five minutes of looking around trying to find something I realise the 2 ladies at the till are staring at me whispering. I continue and find something and take it to the till. I go to put the items on the counter and the blonde lady is MAKING A HOT COFFEE on the counter! I couldn't beleive my eyes. She starts asking my if I'm sure this is what I would like as she doesn't think it would suit my body shape? I'm a size 14 and picked an extra large body suit so was sure it would fit. I paid for the item and left feeling deeply hurt by her words and shocked how she scanned my item around the coffee she was making! Won't be shopping here again in my life time that's for sure!

AWFUL! Refused a refund for an item they broke after I had paid for it. Told me it was my fault. The woman and owner and the woman in most of the modeling pictures was in the shop when I attended. She was rude laughing in my face. The other woman who worked there told her to exchange my item and she refused. Lily is a mean woman the shop is awful and never will I go back again.

Absolutely disgusting service from the male owner of this store. My 15 year old sister picked up a top to try on and he took it straight off of her and says to her “this will not fit you, it’s too small”. Implying that she was too large for this particular size 8 top. Making her cry and call me to come and help (baring in mind we were in a rush as the store closed in 20 minutes and she needed an outfit for her birthday dinner this evening) I asked him if she could just try it on as it was the only thing she liked and he continued to argue with me and not let her try it on! Never have I ever come across an employee/owner of a store tell me (being a size 8) that this will not fit me and judging my weight. It’s absolutely disgusting, this is the reason young children are insecure these days, because of rude people like him.Wish I couldn’t give this awful place a star at all!

Every time I've entered this store the staff are rude, aggressive and unwelcoming, earlier today my colleague entered the store and was not only treated with the same attitude that I and others are familiar with however was also racially profiled with no reason to do so. They handled the situation with aggression snatching the clothing and telling her get out of my store"

Absolutely disgusted by the behaviour of staff. My friend visited and was made out to be a criminal after putting a dress back that she had tried on. No one should ever be made to feel how she was made to feel. Disgusting. They do not deserve any future customers.

I am a regular customer and everytime I go to Lillies Boutique there is always the latest styles and amazing fashion. The customer service is excellent and the staff are kind, friendly and very helpful. I cannot get enough of this shop. I will be back love it
