Absolutely no idea why the people working there don't know how to deal with train delays .. unprofessional employees and dozy ticket sales employees.

A nice Victorian style station that is reasonably well equipped for modern requirements. The standard of waiting rooms and shops need up-gradation. A decent cafe / coffee shop / fish & chips kind of thing would do really good. Movement from one platform to the other isn't easy in all cases as some of the platforms can only be reached by a stair case / bridge and worst, one has to drag his/her suite case on the stairs. No ramp available on few platforms. There is a bit of history about the station but they need to upgrade the facilities.

There is a platform(a few in fact). Train arrives every now and than. It's absolutely mind blowing;)

Kicked out of station for train spotting and minding our own buisness when an avanti west coast staff came up to me and my friends and spoke very disrespectfully to us and unproffesional behaviour. We were then escorted out of the station with BTP threatening to arrest us. We were kicked out onto the street and told to go find some place to stay overnight and bearing mind that my friends are both 15 and under age. Totally unproffesional and disgusting behaviour. Not even worth 1 star.

Never had an issue with Preston Railway Station. Sure it gets busy at times but seems to flow well with the influx of passengers.

Always thought of this place as a nice old building that happens to be a conservation area for pigeons and gale force winds. The train company is laughably awful, ticket machines don't work, all three had the same error code, fifteen people checking you have tickets and one selling them. The only thing that stops me thinking this is a new Banksy installation is Chris the ticket guy, he at least was super helpful.
