Amazing place! I honestly had the best time here, the museum was filled with amazing fossils and crystals, it was so enjoyable to look at all the amazing things. The staff were so friendly and were telling us about where crystals came from and how they are formed. Was a very fun and interesting visit. Also the gift shop was brilliant, there were so many different types of crystals to choose from and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this to others!Nice and easy to find and parking on-site as well. Thank you very much.

Fantastic hidden gem. Lots to see, really friendly helpful staff who gave us loads of information. If you want fancy, sleek and modern it's not for you, if you love fossils, rocks, bones, then its superb.

A really lovely experience for my kids. We were lucky enough to have some time to chat to the curator and owner Mr Wilson who oozed enthusiasm and knowledge about the amazing collection here each with its own story. There is such a wide variety of crystals and fossils it's hard to know where to start. My daughter and niece were in heaven here and didn't know which direction to look first and even my son who normally concentrates his efforts on computers loved it. I would highly recommend a visit. The gift shop is also excellent and well stocked.

Lots of amazing crystals and stones to purchase at an amazing price. Great variations of sizes and colours to choose from. Purchased some goldstone and a sharks tooth today. Many thanks.

Loved it. As someone who has an enormous crystal collection, I was completely in my element. So educational and an impressive amount of fossils, bones etc.Doesn’t take up a whole day, but still definitely worth a visit if you’re interested in learning.

Very interesting. A lot of care and attention has gone into this place. I found it a bit on the expensive side compared to other small local museums (like the Transport museum), which allowed my 5 year old in for free and was a lot bigger. However, you can return within the week, which I do recommend as it is a lot to take in at once for younger children. If you are interested in fossils and crystals, the shop is excellent and lots of smaller stones under £1 which is perfect for little children to start their own collections.

I've recently rediscovered this place after it slipping my my memories as a kid. It's a criminally under advertised place with specimens to rival any museum I've been to, and add in the owner Dave, who's an insanely interestingly and knowledgeage guy. I'd happily pay to sit upstairs and listen to him tell stories about the collection he has on display!

A magical day for our whole family! The youngest (2 and 5) were mesmerised by all the beautiful sparkly minerals and completely fascinated with the dinosaur fossils. It is a treasure trove wherever you look there is something. We did a few laps to take it all in. It really is quite breathtaking. Whether you are into fossils and minerals or not you can’t help but look around in awe. The owner there was lovely! Anything we were interested in he would gladly share how he came about the piece or tell us an incredible story about how it was formed or even how it had to be transported to Stone Science! All of the staff there were so friendly and welcoming, even Wilson the dog who lead us from the car to the front desk! And the gift shop could be a museum in itself! We will definitely return there on our next holiday as I feel the children will appreciate it even more as they grow!
