Charles is a master at his craft took a ring in for resizing and repair can't see where it has been repaired or resized he did it in the time he said he would at a lot less than other shops had quoted me highly recommend this business to anyone

This guy is dishonest. Simple as that. He quoted us a very good price of £35 for a simple resizing of a ring. During this conversation he mentioned how other jewellers were crooks and didn't do a good job. However, it took three weeks (he said it would take one) for him to do the first resizing, only for us to discover he hadn't even done it and the ring was still the same size it was.He somehow blamed someone else but took the ring back. We then couldn't get hold of him for another three weeks until he finally said it was ready. The ring was now the desired size, but he said we now had to pay £105 because it was a more difficult job. He didn't tell us or ask before he did it, just got on with it and expected us to pay.We didn't pay the new price! By the time we'd finished he just wanted us out of this shop - we were very annoyed with him. Six weeks for a basic job.He's as dodgy as the rest of them. Other reviews on Yell have said the same thing. Don't believe the other reviews on Google.

Charles recently resized, polished and repaired a very sentimental gold bracelet of mine, which I was initially nervous about having work completed on. I needn’t have been nervous! Charles took beautiful care of it and I am absolutely over the moon with the result. It is the perfect fit and looks as good as new. I would highly recommend Charles’ services. Thank you so much!

Repair took longer than expected and I had to chase to check on progress. Necklace then fell apart again the minute I took it out the bag when I got it home, and he was conveniently away and closed for the next two weeks so no way to fix it. This plus the reviews below, I’d avoid, whole thing felt dodgy.

Never have I been disappointed with this man talent that he acquired working in Hatton Gardens. Every piece jewerly I give that has been broken he has been able to repair like it had never happened. Broken rings, ‘S’ chain links. Family has been going to him for years. Lovely chap

We've visited this shop many times over the years - always a friendly welcome, efficient service and reasonable prices. But what I appreciate most of all is the fact that the owner never tries to just make a sale - instead he endeavours to ensure you leave with the most appropriate solution to your problem, rather than the one that is most profitable for him.

He really took advantage of the fact it was my wedding ring and it means a lot to me.Tried to give back the ring after doing nothing to it the first time/Original quote tripled by the time I picked it up/NO communication - I was constantly phoning to see when it would be done/the whole process took 6 weeks. My advise? Go to HM Samuel etc - I’ve tried 2 small business jewellers in north London now only to be extremely disappointed.

Very impressive repair, I couldn’t see where the repair had been done , l had other jewellers view the job and where very reluctantly to do the repair because it was a custom made chain , very experienced and honest and price was right.

Simply Jewellery is honest and humble with good pricing and, from my experience, quick turnover - I had my ring resized within a couple of days and it’s to the standard I expected. This place is far better than Angela Rose around the corner, they are unbelievably rude in there, but here Charlie is understanding of customers and is authentic, a real deal jeweller!
