Impressive building, beautifully decorated for the festive season too.

Very beautiful, interesting and well maintained grade listed venue. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful. All types of events are catered for and facilities are all in place to ensure a successful occasion. I was really impressed with it when I attended a conference. Excellent.

Stunning building, unfortunately I couldn't go inside, but it's a beautiful historic building from the outside too.

Interesting and well maintained public space.I attended an event as a hanger-on which was held at the Guildhall. I didn't really know what to expect but both of the rooms which were used were clean and well decorated with the sorts of historical portraiture which could only be found in a place like this.The loos were exceptionally clean, and the door and security staff were courteous and friendly.If more local authorities had facilities like these on their books then I imagine they'd take business from the sorts of anonymous hotels where many conventions and ceremonies take place.

I walked past the Guildhall, looked up and saw the Ukrainian flag with the Union Jack.It’s nice to see the unwavering support for this country.I didn’t visit the tourist information area today but will definitely come back again soon. When the Spring flowers are in bloom in the City.

When you first visit Winchester you can’t help but notice this amazing building that stands out next to the King Alfred Statue. Imposing Victorian building of the Guildhall of Winchester serves different purposes these days. Very friendly Tourist Office is right there with some pretty interesting displays about the history of old Winchester. It is also used as a venue for weddings, public events, conferences, etc.You can go to a nice coffee inside and take a break from sightseeing. I would recommend seeing this place first and taking some great photographs then afterwards heading over to the Famous Cathedral.
