Visited to celebrate a 5th birthday and the staff were incredible and added such an extra sparkle to her birthday celebrations. Everyone enjoyed their food and the kids loved running around in the soft play, but the service really was the highlight of the evening.

I ordered some cocktail but they are out of stock. Impossible to get any blue lagoon or Pina colada! Finally we ordered a Cobb salad which is a salad with lettuce, carottes, corn, cherry tomatoes, avocado and croutons. When we got the salads, avocado and croutons were missing... And cherry tomatoes as well (but replace by tomatoes). We called the waitress to ask but she totally ignore us. I finally catched another waitress and ask why we didn't get all this. We've never had any reply as the waitress also start to ignore us.At the end, before bringing the bill I told to the waitress that we were disappointed about the situation and the answer was we are out of stock". Well we paid the full price...Excuses are not enough!Bad experience

Visited with friends on a quiet Friday afternoon. Soft play was great, lots to do and only £4.50 per child for 90 mins.We then had a table booked for early dinner in the restaurant and it went down hill... we waited around an hour for our main course to come out and one main course was missing! This was only brought out when we queried where it was over 15 mins later! No apology or refund offered... The waitress was miserable and clearly did not want to be there!! As the car park only gives you 3 hours, we were cutting it short due to the long wait for our food and made the kids rush eating their dinners so we didn't go over the time. The food and drink itself were good, no complaints there - just a shame we couldn't enjoy it as we were so rushed to get out. A parking fine would of been the cherry on top to a disappointing experience - we literally had about 1 minute to spare! We'll return for the soft play but avoid the restaurant in the future.

Food was OK. The burger meat was a bit chewy. I but the side of coleslaw on it to add more flavour.

Fantastic experience at the first visit. Ollie was very good and took good care of me. He was very friendly and made me feel very welcome.

Huge pub attached to Premier Inn, great indoor play area for young kids. We reserved a table for 23 which not many places would do. Ended up splitting the party inside/outside as we had two dogs and they are only allowed on the patio. Food was mostly excellent but there was one family's order that didn't arrive - dealt with by the very good staff. A bit cold for some of the kids indoors - aircon too efficient?

Sadly not a great experience but this is not the fault of what was a seemingly an understaffed team on a busy Sunday morning.Waited a while to be seated, coffee machine not working (so instant only today), food kept running out on the buffet and other minor things that add up to an underwhelming service.Would I go back based on this first visit, maybe not but this is not the fault of the team. They clearly needed more support.

The food quality and portion sizes have really let this place down recently. Been a regular at weekends for years but today was the final straw. Having just eaten what can only be described as a burnt kids portion, I'm left hungry and £15 lighter. My advice... go elsewhere.

We visited The Highwayman on a Saturday lunchtime and found plenty of parking available. On entering the pub, it was very clean and well maintained.Staff greeted us with a friendly smile and showed us to our table. The menu was a good mix between honest pub grub and something a little different. We had a vegan, vegetarian, and two meat eaters in our party, and we all managed to find something we wanted with no bother. The food was cooked really well and presented beautifully. As were the drinks, of which they had a great selection to satisfy both drinkers and non drinkers. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable when it came to answering questions about the food and drinks.Even though it was a Saturday lunchtime and attached to a hotel, it wasn't too busy, and we were able to enjoy a nice quiet lunch without too much noise or distractions. The toilets were also really clean and well maintained. As we left, the staff and manager bid as goodbye and wished us well, which made the visit very personal, and we will definitely return when we are back in the area.

Breakfast buffet, best bit was the yogurt and granola, croissant not cooked , soft n stale like , tomatoes not cooked thoroughly, black pudding not cooked properly, tasteless bacon.Yes it’s cheap but this isn’t good.May as well go to the beefeater down the road for their breakfast, same menu but far better quality in end product.Fast less kids running around too so you can eat your breakfast in peace’sFloor staff was very good tho.
