We went here at 12 pm after a boat trip. I entered the bar to get a menu and straight away was told by a rude waitress ' we aren't doing food anymore ' casually as she barged past me.Wouldn't bother attempting to go back , shame as lovely setting.

Good food at reasonable prices. Great location by the river and bridge. Knocked off a ⭐ because they could do with more staff. The 2 girls serving were rushed off their feet.

We decided to visit again whilst waiting for our boat trip. Sat down waited for a menu and no one came so we got our own. Then Queued 20 minutes to order. Food arrived an hour later. On checking receipt we were charged for pints of coke and got half pints. Went back to queue again and this was rectified 10 minutes later. The food was overpriced,tasteless and portions very small. We mentioned to a waitress that we were not happy but she was not interested and said she was busy and could not help us.Also other people were complaining as well.We will not be coming back and wont be recommending this place to anyone else. We gave a 1 star rating as no rating lower is offered. So if you read this please go somewhere else.I was amazed at the arrogant unprofessional response I got calling me a lier is this anyway to treat customers no wonder you have dreadful reviews. No its not McDonalds but if it was at least you would get a descent size meal. I did not say when we visited but I got excuses like covid, staff shortages you were busy and you had so many tickets in the kitchen so I assume you are not only arrogant but psychic as well. If you cant run a reliable business that pleases I suggest that you read the reviews and give the impression that you care.DO NOT EAT HERE.

Called in for a coffee mid morning, We were the only one's there at the time. Coffee was fine, great location and comfortable. However, the service at the counter was OK but the attitude was abysmal, almost rude and we should have walked away really, not made to feel welcome at all. Even when the coffee was served at the table it was just dumped in front of us with no spoken word at all!

Took a chance on this place for lunch after a boat trip as it was a nice spot and not too far from the car park. My husband went in to order as we saw the menu at the entrance and knew what we wanted. He brought the drinks out with him then and was told they'd bring a glass for my water - which never came, but not a big deal, I drank from the bottle. We had wanted hunters chicken, but it wasn't available, so we ordered other things. The waitress seemed really miserable, but maybe she's having a hard time at the moment, who knows. I wasn't too hungry, so just had chips and a portion of garlic mushrooms. Had I realised they were the frozen, breaded variety, I wouldn't have bothered, I think you need to be clearer on the menu. The chips were nice enough. My youngest ordered nuggets and again they were cheap, frozen ones. He didnt like them, can't say I blame him, but he liked the chips. Other people's food was ok, (burgers), but nothing special. Onion rings were cheap frozen ones again. Kind of basic cafe food, heavily relying on frozen food, but I had expected more. I would recommend the place be brightened up with some plants or hanging baskets, the staff given some customer service training and the menu be looked at, so it's less reliant on frozen food, with more fresh options. Alternatively, specialise as an all-day breakfast cafe or a milkshakes and dessert place. There is so much potential here, but respectfully, you need to make some changes. Best of luck

Service really good and the pizza and ham and eggs dragged it from a one to a two star!Highchair was dirty and needed cleaning which should in today's covid world be a given! Unfortunately the frozen scampi was so overdone and dark and the chips a very dark colour which means the oil in the fryer should have been changed.We ate the food as we were very hungry but would not come for a second visit and recommend any other place.Just a shame as the place looked nice and consider it is so close to the coast, there's no fresh offering, just bought in frozen catering food.

Not much of a menu but if you want a snack then you'll struggle to beat this place.Gorgeous setting on the broads and the pizzas and sandwiches are outstanding and very reasonably priced.For a light bite and a cheeky drink this is the place to go.
