What a great morning of photography and viewing of the Peregrine Falcons. We were lucky to witness 5 juveniles soaring and play fighting and one adult flying alone. Richard knew the area and was able to direct me safely to the best places but at all times making sure we did not disturb them. We also seen the Buzzard and Kestrel which I managed to photograph. I have several photos which I am pleased with including Linnets, Stonechats and Rock Pipits.

Love my 2023 calendar. Speedy delivery , and great quality. Now has pride of place in my house.

Had a fantastic day on Exmoor with Richard, checking out the Red Deer rut. His knowledge and passion for the environment and the wildlife within made the trip fascinating and hugely enjoyable. My photos from the day are made more rewarding for me personally, in the knowledge that they were taken while the wildlife went undisturbed.Thanks to Richard's experience and approach, I have taken home a new appreciation of Exmoor, and I hope a greater understanding of the wildlife seen. Would recommend to anyone interested in wildlife and photography and I'll definitely be booking another trip with Richard soon.

I was visiting Cornwall on holiday and took the opportunity to book a workshop with Rich around the Lizard Point. From the outset, Rich was accommodating with my dates particularly as he had already planned to be going to Scotland shortly after. Ahead of the workshop Rich was keen to understand what it was I wanted to get out of the session and based on my response, he then provided a clear itinerary of where we would go that day, and what species we might see. As always with wildlife, there are no guarantees, but over the workshop I enjoyed lots of different animal species including many I'd not seen before, and I am now able to distinguish a Rock Pipe from a Meadow Pipit thanks to Rich's wisdom! The workshop was fantastic and Rich was duly attentive throughout - key highlights were Fulmar, Chough, Rock Pipit, Atlantic Grey Seal, Cuckoo, Roe Deer. I was there mainly to see the wildlife and experience being out in nature, but I did manage to capture a great close up shot of a Buzzard, again thanks to Rich for getting me so close.

Fantastic workshop perfectly tailored to your experience level! Richard was a great teacher and I learnt a huge amount during the day. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone interested in photography.

Richard is an exceptionally talented photographer who provides clear and concise advice. He has a calm and informative manner and is a joy to work with.

I recently did a workshop with Richard, to learn some field skills/skill to help with my wildlife photography, and see some new locations.First impressions he was very friendly and welcoming, and I was surprised how vast his knowledge on the out doors and wildlife was. We had a brilliant day. He Answered all my questions. Shown me some useful camera techniques. And generally we had a very good day out.. we still regularly keep in contact. A few more in the pipe line booked with him. Highly recommended.

The coastal workshop was an incredible day all round. A good mix of stationary hide work along with coastal walking to keep an eye on what is going on allows for a full day of shooting with enough variety to give plenty of shots. Richard was very helpful on the best ways to set gear up and how to handle yourself while watching birds to keep disturbance to the minimum, as well as bird identification and how to recognise calls.Richard was very accommodating to any kind of questions I asked throughout the day and always gave a considerate answer, taking into account your knowledge base and experience, to prevent any confusion. The day was well structured to prevent any wasted time and to make the most of the daylight, with every detail thought about.I highly recommend the workshops with Richard, it is fantastic value for money when everything is taken into account. I shall be returning for another workshop next year!
